Greetings to my brothers and sisters in Christ! I am wondering if anyone besides myself has been having sudden problems with security alerts that pop up on the computer screen when I try to access the Unsealed forum. The pop-up says "Security Alert! The identity of this website or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified." Under that, there is a yellow pyramid with an exclamation mark inside that warns "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site."
This has started happening for me about 2 days ago, but has especially increased today. When I get the security alert, my Internet connection freezes and I have to go to Task Manager to get out of it.
Anyone know what causes this?

Good morning whatif, I can't speak to your specific situation, but I would suspect one of three things:
1. You may have inadvertently downloaded spyware or malware from a website. This can cause frequent popups and false security alerts.
2. The browser you are using may be having issues with the proboards security certificate for some reason. For example, if you use I.E., you might try Chrome or FireFox. Both are free to download and are regarded as faster/safer browsers.
3. Our Proboards host runs a few small ads on the board. One of those ads may be causing an issue.
If anyone else experiences this issue please let me know.
