Can some of you help me with this? Deuteronomy 26 speaks of bringing in the first fruits and it was to be done every three years.
I'm seeing a picture of Jesus being the man and he brings in his first fruits, i.e. believers and takes them to the heavenly temple and dedicates them. We also know by Hebrews that Jesus became our High Priest.
Can anybody see that the three years was maybe the three years of his ministry and when he resurrected he dedicated himself and the brethren(OT saints)?
if you do, how would you see us being raptured? At the end of the church age/at closure of it - bringing in the rest of the first fruits?(since it is every three years)

At the end of the church age/at closure of it - bringing in the rest of the first fruits?(since it is every three years) I am not an expert, but the way 26:12 reads to me is that the third years (the commentaries say 3 and 6 year) becomes a tithe year one for the poor and one for the owners. The Feast itself is every year and not just every three. but if this year is a third year, then this is a tithe year and requires the first fruits to go to the foreigners. Fatherless, and widows ..... could see this as some type of sign, but how would we know if it is indeed a third year? |

Yes, RT it did! That is what I am thinking. I am thinking that the first fruits being Christ at the beginning of the church age and the rest of the body at the end of the church age is still first fruits Combined. For I see Jesus, being obedient one bringing his first fruits and setting it before the high priest, which is himself in heaven, and making a proclamation before the Lord "for" us. 😃
