I would like to assemble a list of churches who have taken a public stand in support, or at least willingness to consider, the Revelation 12 sign as valid for 2017. If people can post them in this thread, I will moderate them up here to the first post so they'll all be in one place. This can be a resource for our many readers, if their church disowns them for their stand. I say that with a smiley face, although it really is a serious matter. The list so far: LifeStory Church in Nashville, TN listed by watchman35 Calvary Chapel of Kaneohe, 47-525 Kamehameha Hwy. Kaneohe, HI listed by Natalie Calvary South Austin, TX, pastor Bunjee Garrett listed by Natalie El Shaddai Ministries, Pastor Mark Biltz. Pacific Christian Center, 3211 – 112th St. E, Tacoma, WA. listed by Whatif

I did not get "disowned" -- but I did get told -- Why does it matter? If it happens, it happens..... There is no need to go screaming the world is ending and setting definite dates (which I did neither) I simply showed how this sign (Rev 12) occurs on this date (Sept 23rd) and that the Micah 5:2 passage seems to imply once this event occurs -- God will be going back to solely dealing with Israel..........

LifeStory Church in Nashville, TN openly speaks about the Rev 12 sign, as well as other signs of the time. By no means dogmatic that the Rapture must take place on 9/23, but definitely acknowledges it as a sign in the heavens and believes it has spiritual significance, even as we may struggle to fully understand what the Lord is saying through it. (BTW, this is a very small Church, with about four other larger churches within a couple hundred yard radius. Welcome to the Bible Belt's Laodicean culture of "Christianity". I was born on the left coast, then spent almost 20 years in the Midwest, and in my attempt to follow God have now landed in the South. We feel like strangers in a very foreign land. Ready to come home, Abba, any time you will have me.

when I tried bringing it up I was told that we are not fortune tellers, and we should not try to watch constellations as that is following the devil

You could add Pastor JD Farag's church Calvary Chapel Kaneohe. I don't think I have heard any other pastors comment on it, in a positive way that is.

My church stays away from prophecy. When I tried to bring it up with a pastor (just the message of Christ's soon return), he quoted the average NOKTDOH (No one knows the day or hour). I wish I had a prophecy oriented church, but I am grateful for my new church; it is leaps and bounds better than my old apostate church!

This is a church. A 'church' is a place where the capital C Church gathers. Just because it isn't a physical place doesn't make it less of a church. In fact, this is a better church then any I've been to, because we are all pastors and all students: we all teach and learn from each other. Plus, this is a 24/7 church, not just a weekend church.

This post has been up over a week and there are only two churches listed!?! Wow! And one of them is JD's. That speaks volumes. Tragically, lots of "church folk" are snoozing in Laodicea.

Truthfully, I have not said anything to my pastor so I don't know where he stands. I do know that our church teaches about the rapture, the tribulation, the Millennial kingdom, and that we are in the last of the last days, but I haven't talked to anyone about the sign. Although I did make a post on facebook about it a week ago. I didn't get much response.
ETA: We haven't been at this church very long is why I guess I have been hesitant to bring it up.

My church isn't too thrilled about it--my pastor listened to me, but they have a huge new building going up, that's expected to be finished in December. . . .
In all fairness, I didn't know about the sign when they committed to build the building, and I also didn't tell them about it for several months afterward, because I was trying to make sure it was "a thing."
But my church, while not actively opposing my teaching, is not officially interested in it.

"Pastor (perhaps an elder/leader instead) I know I havent been here long so I do not know how you view certain things as they pertain to prophesy. Recently I have been studying in Revelation chapter 12" see if the person has a reaction or not before you proceed. Read the body language. then explain Genesis 1:14 - On the fourth day " 14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years"Then explain the upcoming the September 23 alignment at the 40,000 feet level. See how they react. Don't ram the whole thing in there in one shot. Just my suggested approach

I've been doing some internet searching and found another church teaching it. Calvary South Austin, pastor Bunjee Garrett. They have been going through the book of Revelation and when he got to chapter 12 he did tell them about the sign. I listened to the first about 20 min. He cautioned on setting dates for things but he leans towards this being a sign for Israel that they may soon be returning to their relationship with the Father. He brought up the Torah readings on the 23rd.

UGH! (charley brown style) I just don't understand this. This is not some book written by so & so that you found and think it would benefit the bretheren, this is the WORD! It's sad to hear this and the other pastors who have little to no interest in this. Talk about it. Don't build doctrine on it! Educate your people/flocks! Maybe, just maybe they'll get excited about their Redeemer (if they're not) and share the love of Christ and His soon return. EDIT - I hate to say it like this, but feel its necessary sometimes. If we are in the 'last of the last days' and the sign truly means something, like it could actually be our last day on earth, why dont we act like it!? I dont know how Noah felt, but he did what he was told to do as those around him "ate & drank, married and were given in marriage" ignoring the warning, but I am starting to see the parallel more and more.
