I spoke too soon. I went out to the garden today and found some monarch eggs. Natalie, I meant to post this for ya a couple weeks ago...happened to catch this big guy on the Milkweed on Sept. 5. In the spring, my wife told me not to pull up the milkweed...for the Monarchs...but we have it everywhere. Saw lots of Monarch butterflies in the yard this year.

I'm glad you left the milkweed. Mine seems to stay in the garden where I originally put it, but I do cut off the seed pods before they explode.

Here it is...spring 2020. Those three moth caterpillars made cocoons wrapped up in leaves and are still sleeping. But, some of my butterflies have started waking up.
And I found a new bug - a bumble flower beetle
And the kitten likes to help. (The netting is to keep him from playing in the dirt.)

I am so excited about this one. One of my Polyphemus moths came out of her cocoon! (I think it's a her )
So amazing! I love the creatures God made. <3
