It almost certainly has some kind of significance. The path of totality is narrow. For it to go over that town on that date of the year (1:365 chance of the date) is in my opinion, statistically relevant. Then again, what other towns have historical events significant to August 21? Could be several across the country. . . .

Could be several across the country. . . . Yes it is statistically significant. Not too strong, but it is within 3 sigma of the mean. 3 sigma = 3/1000

Just found this video which points out something I didn't realize--the eclipse also goes over the Georgia Guidestones. Among other things.
I'm still watching this video, so I don't know whether it's all good or not.

I'm still watching this video, so I don't know whether it's all good or not. I see a number of inconsistencies they are trying to tie together that just do not seem to logically work.
