I'm convinced that I'm not the only one out there who has spent endless hours over the last few years attempting to find the Dragon. After studying at least a dozen theories about where and what the dragon is, I'm still not convinced that we have found it. With the clock ticking... I think with a little teamwork... we could actually find it! Here is a potential new place to start looking. If we go back to the Lunar eclipse Tetrad of 2014-2015, and we look at the locations of where they actually occurred, it could give us a clue as to where to look. The first and third Eclipse were at Virgo, and the second and fourth eclipse were at the horizontal section of Pisces (symbolic of the Jewish people). The first and Third eclipses point to Virgo where the September 23 sign is...If we look at the Pisces area of the sky on 9/23/17, there is not much to look at (with the one great exception of Uranus just having finished a triple conjunction of the vertical section of Pisces (which represents the believers)... but not much more to look at... If however you go 3 1/2 years in the future to where we are speculating the mid point of the tribulation is, the date would be 5/1/2021 and now there is something to get excited about. In Stellarium, set your viewing location to Israel, and your date to 5/1/2021. All 7 planets are visible at one time in the sky in Israel on that day! The sun is right by the head of Cetus which represents a large fish or sea monster. If viewed by clicking the minute button, the seven planets appear to rise up and appear one by one as the day unfolds. Now, Lets take a look at Revelation 13... Revelation 13 New King James Version (NKJV) The Beast from the Sea 13 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
Is this alignment what John saw? Lets go with the already presented theory that Cetus the sea monster is the beast. The fiery red dragon is the sun (next to Cetus giving him power) and the seven planets are the seven heads. All the planets are named after Greek and Roman Gods making them have a Blasphemous name on their heads. If we note that a few days later, the sun has moved to Aries... (the ram with 2 horns) could this be the second beast?
The Beast from the Earth
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence
But where are the horns? If you look at the location of all Dwarf planets and asteroids that are within the location of the alignment, you will find exactly 12 that are there and named after Greek or Roman Gods. The two horns in Aries are Paethon and Promethius and the other 10 associated with the first beast are Cerres, Eris, Bianca, Dadalus, Duende, Epithius,, gaspra, icarusIda and pallas.....
Got to leave for work.... more later See ya on the way up!

I'm so glad you started this thread, brad! I've been wondering what the Dragon sign will be, and it seems to me that with the Revelation 12:1-2 sign being identified (if indeed we are correct that we will be seeing it fulfilled on 23 September 2017), it shouldn't be too long before the Dragon sign is also identified. Your theory is quite interesting! I've been wondering if perhaps it will be some kind of unexpected astronomical event, such as a new comet or meteor, or perhaps a terrible nuclear event where seven strikes cause seven clouds to appear as heads in the sky. I am eager to learn more of your theory when you have the time to present it.

Hi, brad! Did you happen to find the moon, as well, on the 05/01/2021 date? If not, I'll correct my timeline, as I thought you had mentioned the moon being among the planets and sun, but now that I've reread your post I see I may have made an error. I did check out the sky on Stellarium, and indeed I found the sun and all the planets (even Pluto, to make 8) on 05/01/2021. I just didn't find the moon.

Thanks for responding, the moon? on 5/1 21...? It's near pluto in Sag.... Why the moon? what's your take on the moon?

Thanks for responding, the moon? on 5/1 21...? It's near pluto in Sag.... Why the moon? what's your take on the moon? Hi, brad! Thank you! I'll check it out again. I only ask about the moon because of the two other times I've found it in the sky in the line-up with the 8 planets and the sun, one being in mid-March to mid-May 2024, and the other on April 5, 1916. The occurrences seem to me to be like bookends to a 100-year (plus 7-year) period that I've placed into a chart of astronomical events related to Israel's history.

Hi again, brad! Interesting news! I just rechecked Stellarium for the moon on the 05/01/2021 date, and I did find it this time, but not at the same time the planets and sun are in the sky. It's almost there at the same time, but Mars disappears when the moon shows, and the moon disappears when Mars shows. However... I found the alignment to occur on 05/11/2021, as well, and I did find the complete set with sun and moon all in the sky at the 09:30 hour. I had to use the search box for Neptune and Pluto, but they are in the line-up. Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day, occurs on 05/10/2021, the day before.

Whatif, we don't have a date for the Supernova yet, but did you put it on your chart? Good morning, watchmanjim! This supernova is fascinating, isn't it? I have added it to the chart as "Possible Supernova" in the 2022 timespan. Wouldn't that be fantastic if it truly does happen as the astronomers are theorizing?

Good morning, brad! I did some further looking at Stellarium and discovered that the planets, sun, and moon are in the sky together from 05/02/2021 to 05/16/2021. I'm so glad you pointed out the May 1 date for examining! I will update my chart with the new information.

The seven headed dragon with ten horns is a Babylonian idea. The horns are at the back: Here is a picture of it: www.aakkl.helsinki.fi/melammu/database/images/orhydrameso.jpg ( The number of horns differ...) The myth about the slaying of the dragon influenced the Greek myth about Hercules killing the Hydra. The constellation Hydra is the Greek variant of the multi-headed snake/dragon. We lack information to say if the Babylonians too considered the Hydra to be the same constellation as the Greek Hydra, i.e. a multi-headed snake/dragon. In the Bible it represents the Devil as a sign in the sky: "Then another sign appeared in heaven: There was a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns." Revelation 12:3. To John, the dragon represents the Devil and his impersonating agent on earth. In Revelation 12, the dragon has crowns (alternative translation: diadems). That is not seen in the images of the snake. The reason is that to the Babylonians, the fact that something was crowned meant that a planet was above another object. If the object was crowned and red, the planet above was Mercury. Now, to be 100% clear, this is only verified concerning Mercury above Venus, but in analogy Mercury above the dragon would crown it and make it red. It happens to be the case, that when Venus entered into Jupiter in June 2 BC and signalled the coming of a new king from the Amurru area (to which Israel belonged), Mercury at the same time hovered above the Hydra. Mercury represents the Babylonian god Nabu, visualised as an angel. So what can be seen in the summer of 2 BC is an angel hovering over the evil dragon as it sinks below the horizon in the evening, in the same way as the dragon sinks to earth in Revelation 12. The magi took this as a sign that the new king would defeat the Persian (Parthian king), just as Alexander the Great did 300 years earlier. John has not accepted the Babylonian interpretations of the signs in the heavens but altered the interpretations in a Christian direction. By the way, Pisces does not represent the Jews. That is an medieval idea.

Both Mars and Mercury are considered red by the magi. Mercury is the planet which makes the planet beneath it red and crowned. I am referring to Enuma Anu Enlil, the Babylonian divination manual.

That is an medieval idea. I'm not opposed to the idea that the Babylonian seven-headed dragon may corroborate what the Bible already says, but to be clear, Revelation 12 is a vision given by Christ through His angel directly to the Apostle John. This is an image that God revealed. Of course it's possible that Babylonians first developed the image and then God employed it because John and/or his audience would be familiar with it. As far as the interpretation of it, I think you're spot on that John didn't accept the Babylonian interpretation - the Bible interprets itself here where the dragon is satan. The additional details of seven heads and ten horns point us directly to other passages in Revelation and in Daniel where we learn this symbolism represents not only satan, but his entire earthly program. Considering also that Daniel already described a seven-headed, ten-horned beast in Daniel 7, its entirely possible that the reason ancient Babylon had this image to begin with was because God Himself gave Daniel the dream of this beast while he was living in Babylon. He shared his dream with the Jewish community there (and obviously his dream was recorded) and news spread.

Daniel was extremely influential in Babylon, and it only makes sense for his teachings to be known there. His fame spread far and wide.
