Whoa, that's a sordid thought. On a parallel track, I always wondered if the beast would be hailed as the lost heir to Bonnie Prince Charlie (who supposedly had no heir). Possibilities are endless-- the man of perdition could claim to be the Messiah, Jesus, the 12th Imam, the descendant of King Arthur, Charlemagne, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Prestor John, Julius Caesar, the last Egyptian dynasty, and who knows what else, all at once.
