Russian church head: Smartphones could precede Antichrist MOSCOW (AP) — The head of the Russian Orthodox Church says the data-gathering capacity of devices such as smartphones risks bringing humanity closer to the arrival of the Antichrist. In an interview shown Monday on state TV, Patriarch Kirill said the church does not oppose technological progress but is concerned that “someone can know exactly where you are, know exactly what you are interested in, know exactly what you are afraid of” and that such information could be used for centralized control of the world. “Control from one point is a foreshadowing of the coming of Antichrist, if we talk about the Christian view. Antichrist is the person who will be at the head of the world wide web that controls the entire human race,” he said. www.apnews.com/310ae6ecfaa1414c8f3717d62870784c

Revelation 13:15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. The thought of any intelligent machine or machine intelligence to have the ability to perform any projected warfare task without any human involvement and intervention -- using only the interaction of its embedded sensors, computer programming and algorithms in the human environment and ecosystem -- is becoming a reality that cannot be ignored anymore. Weaponization of Artificial Intelligence
As AI, machine learning and deep learning evolves further and moves from concept to commercialization, the rapid acceleration in computing power, memory, big data and high-speed communication is not only creating innovation, investment and application frenzy, but is also intensifying the quest for AI chips. This ongoing rapid progress and development signify that artificial intelligence is on its way to revolutionizing warfare and that nations are undoubtedly going to continue to develop the automated weapons system that AI will make possible. As reports are already emerging of complex algorithmic systems supporting more and more aspects of war-fighting across CGS, the truth is that the commoditization of AI is a reality now. As seen in cyberspace, automated warfare (cyberwarfare) has already begun -- where anyone and everyone is a target. So, what is next, geo-warfare and space-warfare? And, who and what will be the target? www.forbes.com/sites/cognitiveworld/2019/01/14/the-weaponization-of-artificial-intelligence/#2a92afbd3686

Revelation 13:15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. AI-informed combat decisions, enabled by accelerated real-time analytics, allow human decision makers to draw upon otherwise inaccessible pools of data. Algorithms can integrate new information, instantly compare it against vast amounts of stored data, and come to informed conclusions without requiring human intervention. Often referred to as easing the " cognitive burden," AI and iterations of man-machine interface, can perform time-consuming or otherwise impossible information-analysis tasks, all while a human functions as ultimate decision-maker in a command and control role. While AI is quickly advancing toward being able to discern and organize seemingly subjective information, there are many decision-making abilities and problem-solving faculties regarded as unique to human cognition. www.foxnews.com/tech/navy-sets-sights-on-ai-enabled-6th-gen-f-a-xx-fighter-to-come-after-f-a-18

China has been developing Artificial Intelligence weaponry at a much higher rate than the U.S. and experts say it’s something that neither Silicon Valley nor The Pentagon should be turning their backs on. “China has fewer barriers to adopting AI in the military because there is not as large of a social stigma attached to their usage like there is in the United States,” Matthew Bey, a Senior Global Analyst at intelligence firm Stratfor told Fox News. “While we focus on AI the difference in this view is far beyond just AI but rather tech in general. Americans, on average, are far more skeptical about the benefits of technology." Above all, the U.S. does not want to find itself behind China and its development of AI for military use. "We want to be clear that while we are not developing AI for use in weapons, we will continue our work with governments and the military in many other areas," Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in a blog post. "These include cybersecurity, training, military recruitment, veterans’ healthcare, and search and rescue. These collaborations are important and we’ll actively look for more ways to augment the critical work of these organizations and keep service members and civilians safe." Microsoft has made similar comments about working with the U.S. military, specifically mentioning its use of AI. Musk, who has warned that humans might become an "endangered species" if AI were to take over, is building a new company, Nueralink, to aid humanity and " achieve a symbiosis with artificial intelligence and to achieve a democratization of intelligence such that it's not monopolistically held by governments and large corporations." www.foxnews.com/tech/as-trump-signs-eo-on-artificial-intelligence-tech-giants-warn-of-dangergizmodo.com/tech-genius-donald-trump-to-sign-executive-order-on-art-1832522701

Monks at the ancient Kodaiji temple in Kyoto, Japan, recently gathered for a traditional ceremony in which they chanted and rang bells to a new statue of a deity named Mindar, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. But the statue isn’t carved out of traditional stone or wood, according to a new story by The Diplomat. Instead, it’s a strange, cyberpunk depiction of a robot deity, with exposed aluminum actuators and electronics that its creators say is a new way of expressing spiritual belief in a technological age. futurism.com/the-byte/japanese-temple-cyberpunk-robot-goddessAttachments:

"The United States House passed the Curbing Realistic Exploitative Electronic Pedophilic Robots Act (CREEPER) in 2018 to preemptively ban childlike sex robots but robots, IoT (Internet of Things) & Artificial Intelligence are changing how humans have sex. Regulating artificial intelligence in the sex industry is a new frontier. There are already challenges in regulating the porn industry, and there are additional considerations when dealing in virtual reality. Some of the existing laws governing sex are antiquated, but the future is here, and lawmakers are going to have to deal with the legal and policy questions created by artificial intelligence." "As the wave of artificial intelligence sweeps over another area of our lives, it leaves disruption in its wake. This time it is changing the way we intimately interact with technology and our fellow humans. As the momentum continues, it's clear the technology and even artistry that makes sex bots possible is impressive, but it remains to be seen if this addition to our intimate relations will be good or bad for society." www.forbes.com/sites/bernardmarr/2019/04/01/how-robots-iot-and-artificial-intelligence-are-changing-how-humans-have-sex/#2eddf650329c

San Francisco (CNN Business)Hundreds of Google employees are demanding the company remove the president of conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation from a newly formed council meant to advise the company on the responsible usage of artificial intelligence. A group of employees calling itself Googlers Against Transphobia said in a post to the website Medium on Monday that by appointing Heritage's president Kay Coles James to the council, Google is "making clear that its version of 'ethics' values proximity to power over the wellbeing of trans people, other LGBTQ people, and immigrants." Heritage has openly opposed LGBT rights. And the group of Google (GOOG) employees pointed out several recent Twitter posts where James criticized proposed federal legislation such as the Equality Act, which aims to halt discrimination based on gender identity, sex and sexual orientation. On Twitter, James called the bill "anything but equality" and said it would "open every female bathroom and sports team to biological males." Google announced on March 26 the formation of the Advanced Technology External Advisory Council, which will consult with Google about major issues in AI such as facial recognition and fairness. In a blog post at the time, Kent Walker, Google's senior vice president of global affairs, said the council will "provide diverse perspectives" to the company. A team of scientists, some of whom have worked for Elon Musk, outlined a way to rapidly implant electrical wiring into the brains of rats. The process, described in an unpublished academic paper, is an important step toward a potential system to plug human brains directly into computers. The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency provided financial support for the research. The agency, DARPA, is known for its role in forming the internet and GPS. For the rat-brain project, DARPA awarded $2.1 million to the University of California at San Francisco, where the bulk of the work was done in conjunction with a lab at Berkeley. “Although more research is needed to refine the overall interface system and better integrate its components, these developments may ultimately open the possibility of bundling next-generation robotics, AI software and electronics to create alternatives to present-day neurosurgical techniques,” Justin Sanchez, the director of DARPA’s Biological Technologies Office, wrote in an emailed statement. (Your link doesn't work for me) I do see a potential for it to not be global. But I think that would mean that several world powers have to have something happen to them to not be world powers anymore. It's an interesting consideration. But I think your Muslim theory raises some questions -- at least to me it does. How long does it take for a Muslim to form this "mark"? And how is it that this "mark" is the name or number of the beast? I googled it, and it looks more like a bruise than a number or name. And it seems that it's mostly men. Are they more devout? (Or are women just more careful with their skin?)
However, Scripture makes it sound like it is a mark with a number or name that a person will receive on their hand or forehead in order to buy or sell. Everyone would need it. It could be applied on the skin. Like a real thin membrane type substance that contains something someone could scan (just one type of technology that I have seen that is available today)

Conclusion: The mark is imposed upon ALL the people under the power and influence of the two horned beast and his sidekick anti-Christ kingdom. They are not worldwide empires!
How long does it take to obtain the mark? I suppose it depends how hard the forehead hits the mat! At 35 times a day, I don't imagine it takes very long. The number could be the 6,666 verses in the Koran, the name is Allah. The "right hand" could be having to carry a Koran in the right hand which is a Muslim's "clean hand."Hello Jamie & welcome Have you looked at this thread?: 666unsealed.boards.net/thread/1700/666

Jamie and Natalie, In my opinion, The AC kingdom is not global. There are at least 2 times that specify how much of the world is under his control, I think 1 says like a fourth of the earth and another mentions 1/3rd. But we see in the Trumpets evrytime is 1/3rd of this or that of the earth. But the AC doesnt control the whole earth as we have Armageddon which means the AC has opposing nations against him. In Daniel we also see: If this is future: So I don't see him controlling the entire earth as some say in Churches, even my church /sigh Scripture doesn't say he controls it all, it says he doesn't from this understanding. If you notice, it is after this time that Jacobs trouble comes in Chapter 12.

"We’re quickly moving toward a world where AI will more seamlessly help to power our human intelligence and interactions." Consider AlterEgo, a project originating from the MIT Media Lab — an intelligence amplification device that uses silent speech recognition, also known as internal articulation, to measure the electrical signals the brain sends to the internal speech organs. AlterEgo is a non-invasive device that’s worn over the ear and along the jawline. The signals it measures are part of the voluntary nervous system, meaning users must intentionally think of speaking words to trigger the device — a feature that sets it apart from other brain-computer interfaces (BCI) that are capable of receiving signals directly from the brain. The AlterEgo device translates these silent user signals into commands to control other systems, such as IoT devices, and query information, say from a Google search. A user controls the device without opening their mouth, and without any externally observable movements. They simply have to think about the words they would have asked Siri or a smart speaker out loud. Information is then relayed back to the user through audio. (AlterEgo uses bone-conduction audio to respond back to users, which completes the discreet information loop silently.) The entire interaction is completely internal to the user — almost like speaking to oneself. AlterEgo’s creators hope that this silent information loop will make people’s interactions with the technology both unobtrusive and discreet. Arnav Kapur, a PhD student at MIT who leads the AlterEgo project, described their vision in a recent interview: “Speaking is not private, but you are in total control of it. Thinking is completely private, but sometimes you’re not in control of all your thoughts. We’re trying to make something that’s right in between those two ends of the spectrum, but that brings the best of both worlds.”MORE:hbr.org/2019/04/how-wearable-ai-will-amplify-human-intelligenceNOTE:I always find it interesting of the choice of words used buried in some of the articles. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
