Our solar system is a dangerous place, and this month Earth inches closer to one of its riskier places, the “Taurid swarm” of meteors. It’s a theorized vast cloud of debris and possibly large objects, leftover from a massive comet's disintegration, that is suspected of causing catastrophic collision events in the past. According to Western Meteor Physics Group’s data analysis, Earth is now approaching within 30,000,000 km of its center, the closest such encounter since 1975. There is no imminent threat of bombardment by meteors for now, but astronomers want to know if it could be a problem, particularly when Earth passes directly through the meteor swarm in November 2032. Why is Earth close to the ‘Taurid swarm’?
Earth passes relatively close to the Taurid swarm twice per year. The events produce the Beta Taurids meteor shower from June 5 to July 18, and then the North and South Taurids meteor showers in late October. These aren’t going to be dangerous events in 2019, but Earth’s closeness is critically important because our planet is predicted to pass directly through the “Taurid swarm” in November 2032. There are reasons to suggest that we need to be ready for something serious … meanwhile, the North and South Taurids in late October and early November could be worth watching for large fireballs. Why is the ‘Taurid swarm’ special?
Normally, astronomers are nervous about two things; NEOs and comets, but the Taurid swarm represents a third threat. It’s thought to have caused the famous “Tunguska Event” when on June 30, 1908, 2,000 square kilometers of Siberian forest were flattened by … something. Astronomers have since calculated that Earth was then passing through the Taurid swarm. It could also be responsible for a 1,000 year freeze from 11,000 BC and the Tagish Lake meteorite, which fell on Yukon Territory in Canada in January 2000. MORE: www.forbes.com/sites/jamiecartereurope/2019/06/11/earth-is-now-approaching-the-same-meteor-swarm-that-wiped-out-a-siberian-forest/#177071441714Taurus - The Ox, Hebrew - Shur, The Ruler The First letter in the Hebrew Aleph-Beth is the Aleph. The original pictograph for this letter is a picture of an ox head representing strength and power from the work performed by the animal and also represents a chief or other leader. The Hebrew word for bull or ox is “shur” which also means “to return” or “to come back”. The brightest star is Aldebaran which was originally نير الضبران (Nā᾽ir al Dabarān in Arabic), meaning "the bright one of the follower". The second brightest is Elnath, variously El Nath or Alnath, comes from the Arabic word النطح an-naţħ, meaning "the butting" (i.e. the bull's horns). There are two distinct star groups in Taurus: the Hyades and the Pleiades. Hyades means “congregated” while Pleiades comes from the Hebrew for “gathering” and the Greek “Pleistos” (great in number") – literally, "greatest in quantity) or “Pleion” which means “The many”, “the excellent” or “the great”. Ancient Greeks called them "the clusterers." The Bible sometimes refers to the Pleiades as the "seven stars" and sometimes to "Pleiades." Job 9:9, 38:31-32; Amos 5:8; Rev.1:16 & 20. In Job it is the Pleiades, but in Revelation, Christ is holding the seven stars in His hand, representing the seven churches. Since the Hebrew word for the Pleiades comes from the root meaning "gathering," the meaning was inescapable for the early church. Seven gatherings -- seven churches. Christ used a star picture people knew and applied it to His Church. Attachments:

For the record I do not have a problem with anything your sharing or linking to ... (and their various theories)....
What I take issue with is none of these "debris fields " are even "see able" We are not even sure if they still exist in "clusters" or have already spread out.
Saying -- we are coming up upon the "center of such a field" is pure guess work (not even a theory -- because we do not have the actual data)
That says the debris field range for X to Z with the center of O ---
Maybe, I am not making too much sense ... just find it strange that many take these theories as gospel fact .... when at most they are wild guesses....

I understand completely. Please trust me when I say that the only thing I take as the "gospel fact" is the Gospel... all 66 Books. Often when I link these stories I quote the highlights from the story only that those interested would not be re-directed from the site. The fact that scientist only understand about 3% (if that) of our universe makes it almost all a theory but there is significant data as to how & why many scientist and astronomers are arriving at these theories. Here is an article published by a more reputable source in the astronomy community with a disclaimer at the end of the article written 10/18:
"Let’s be clear. We are no more in danger of being hit by a space rock from the newly discovered stream of Taurids than we were before scientists discovered it. So there is no imminent danger here. It simply means that scientists will be searching the newly identified streams of meteoroids, with the goal of detecting any medium-sized or even moderately large asteroids with orbits that might bring them near Earth."
The Taurid meteor shower occurs every year, beginning in late October and extending through November. It usually offers only a few bright meteors. However, 2015 was an exceptional year for the Taurids. In November 2015, a network of meteor cameras located in Europe detected about 200 fireballs. Of those, 24 were very bright, and 10 were as bright or even brighter than the full moon.
Bright Taurid meteors were also recorded in Puerto Rico and Thailand, and elsewhere. EarthSky received many photos and videos of the Taurids in 2015.
Since then, astronomers have made an extensive analysis of some of the incoming 2015 Taurids and found that most of the meteors showed a trajectory or orbit that points to the same new branch of meteoroid material. And hence a new meteoroid stream has been found.
Then something else got astronomers’ attention. They realized that some large space rocks, including asteroids 2015 TX24 and 2005 UR, share the same orbits as the newly found swarm of Taurid meteoroids. These asteroids are now assumed to be members of the newly detected meteoroid stream. Asteroid 2015 TX24 – discovered on October 8, 2015 – was closest to Earth 20 days later, on October 28, a date very close to the Taurid meteor shower’s enhanced activity in 2015.
These asteroids are between 200 and 300 meters (656 and 984 feet) in diameter.
And so it appears likely that the newly discovered meteoroid streams contains other still-undiscovered, but relatively large, space rocks.
Remember, some Taurid meteors encounter Earth’s atmosphere each year. Is it possible that larger objects in the newly found Taurid meteor stream might also encounter Earth? For this reason, astronomers speak of these objects as potentially hazardous. They say the objects would be large enough to cause some regional damage if they were indeed to strike Earth, but – as yet – no asteroid has been identified as threatening or having a collision course with Earth. "Clearly, further research and observations are needed."MORE: earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/taurid-new-meteroid-stream-potentially-hazardous-asteroids

I think it's the timing of the thing. I wasn't really paying attention to it, then i read one article and take a stroke. And the English Girl did a new video about a dream she had. She and her friends were outside and they saw a wall of fire coming at them. A wall of fire. There was nothing they could do, nowhere to run. All they could do was to hold hands and pray to Jesus. Then the wall of fire came upon them and passed over them. Though it burned up everything else up around them. I also think that fire is on the way. I always did. From Luke 17. The Day when the Son of Man will be revealed. Just like on the very day that Lot left out from Sodom. Fire falls from heaven in the full view of men. But it's a surgical strike. On that day, one shall be taken, and one shall be left. All that i needed to hear is that there's a connection with Jupiter. And quakes on the moon. Since they're already coming back at us on the out bound trip, the author of this note says that they're hidden from our view in the daytime sky. I remember that Russian meteor that they also couldn't see until just before it hit. So it is a spooky subject. "A concentrated swarm of Taurid objects orbits in resonance with Jupiter, completing seven elongated loops around the Sun for every two by Jupiter. (Like 2P/Encke, these objects have highly elongated paths that range roughly from Mercury's orbit nearly out to Jupiter's.) "In 1975, seismometers left on the Moon by Apollo astronauts recorded a spike in tremors just as this "Taurid resonant swarm" (TRS for short) was nearing Earth, and a score of asteroids have been discovered in suspiciously Encke-like orbits. The swarm crossed Earth's orbit inbound back in April, when Earth itself was nowhere nearby, and it swung through perihelion weeks later. Now they're coming at us on the outbound leg, still hidden from view in the daylight sky. Observers will have to wait until just after they've passed by to spot them. The first window falls between June 25th and July 11th, corresponding to the weak-moonlight periods on either side of July 2nd's total solar eclipse. Individual objects will be their brightest, some around magnitude 21 or better, but their motion across the sky will be most rapid — up to ½° per hour. They'll be moving through declinations of –40° to –60°, with the brightest objects the farthest south. A second opportunity falls in the dark-sky window between full moons from July 21st to August 10th. Objects in the concentrated TRS core will appear fainter by 3 or 4 magnitudes, but their sky motion will be slower. The target area is not quite so far south. This sky map shows the predicted location of the Taurid resonant swarm on July 11th, when it will be passing south of Earth. Colors correspond to the apparent magnitudes that dark, 100-m-wide objects would have at that time (see scale at lower right). David Clark / Univ. of Western Ontario The third opportunity, from July 5th to 11th, is a dynamical "sweet spot" during which individual objects are still relatively close by. But they'll be moving across the southern sky at less than 2¼° per day — slow enough to have a good chance of being swept up by telescopic surveys. As the plot at right shows, the simulation suggests that the brightest bodies will be around magnitude 22 — a tall order for amateur-scale telescopes but easy pickings for professional instruments. Many observers will concentrate their search in the area several degrees south of the tail of Scorpius. www.skyandtelescope.com/astronomy-news/stalking-the-taurid-swarm/

I was working at NASA when they started using the term NEO's instead of asteroids. I grew up in the Atari age. They have always been called asteroids. Why the change? Reduce public fear? idk... This other website caught my attention while looking into the approaching NEO's because it was called "The Watchers" there was a link from NEWS 24 site: It lead me on an interesting rabbit trail during my lunch. www.news24.com/Green/News/two-asteroids-to-pass-extremely-close-to-earth-20190708Two large asteroids will make extremely close passes of Earth over the next couple of days. While a number of asteroids - classed as Near Earth Objects (NEOs) - pass the Earth on a regular basis, these two will make an exceptionally close flyby. On Tuesday, an object dubbed 2019 MB4 will pass at just 315 000km from Earth, a closer distance than the moon, which averages 385 000km away from the planet. This asteroid is estimated to be 22m long - around half the length of an Airbus A380-800 - the biggest passenger plane in the world. NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory data revealed that 2019 NN3 will pass Earth on Wednesday at a distance of just 320 000km. That asteroid is estimated to be between 35m to 77m in length. Discovery Asteroid 2019 MB4 is travelling at 7.1km/s (or 25 560km/h) while 2019 NN3 is travelling at 8.84km/s (31 824km/h). A typical rifle bullet travels at about 750m/s (2 700km/h). Finding asteroids is difficult because they travel fast against the blackness of space, making it difficult for instruments to detect. Asteroid 2019 MB4 was only discovered on June 29 while 2019 NN3 was first observed on May 31. Both NEOs are classed as potentially hazardous objects because they orbit within 0.05 astronomical units (the distance from the earth to the sun) of the earth. Asteroid 2019 MB4 will intersect the earth's orbit, classing it as an Aten. Apollo NEOs also cross the earth's orbit, but with a semi-major axis larger than the earth's; Amors orbit outside the earth's orbit, and Atiras orbit between the earth and the sun. watchers.news/2019/07/08/asteroid-2019-mb4/This is where it got weird. I don't know why I always want to know the meaning behind names but I do. I used to be very bad about remembering peoples names I just met. That was until I started searching the meaning behind the name. Then I could get a visual to go along with the name and that really changed my life when it comes to social skills. Nothing sucks more to me than to forget someones name especially 5 minutes after they just told you. :/It was first observed at Pan-STARRS, Haleakala observatory in Hawaii on June 29 and its estimated diameter is between 17 and 38 m (55 - 124 feet).Early Hawaiians applied the name Haleakalā ("house of the sun") to the general mountain. Haleakalā is also the name of a peak on the southwestern edge of Kaupō Gap. In Hawaiian folklore, the depression (crater) at the summit of Haleakalā was home to the grandmother of the demigod Māui. According to the legend, Māui's grandmother helped him capture the sun and force it to slow its journey across the sky in order to lengthen the day. Where have we heard this story before? I can't prove that it was an asteroid that hit the Earth and caused the Earth to stop rotating or possibly spin backwards but I have listened to enough theories that it is of my opinion that is what happened to explain what happened in the natural. I do believe that everything that happens in the natural is reflective of the spiritual. Also... I think everyone that reads the forums might know what I think of when I see AiJoshua 10 English Standard Version (ESV) The Sun Stands Still 10 As soon as Adoni-zedek, king of Jerusalem, heard how Joshua had captured Ai and had devoted it to destruction, doing to Ai and its king as he had done to Jericho and its king, and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were among them, 2 he feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, like one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were warriors. 12 At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation took vengeance on their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry to set for about a whole day. 14 There has been no day like it before or since, when the Lord heeded the voice of a man, for the Lord fought for Israel. I am going to list 3 reasons why I think this will happen again. (BTW - I am not suggesting it will happen this month or even this year.) Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
10 Is there a thing of which it is said,
“See, this is new”?
It has been already
in the ages before us.
Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 14 I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. 15 That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.
Isaiah 46:8-10 “Remember this and stand firm,
recall it to mind, you transgressors,
9 remember the former things of old;
for I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me,
10 declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

bondservant,Thanks for your post. Sorry if I'm jumping to a different subject, but your comments on the original Hebrew pictograph reminded me of something I read in the book I finished last week. In the book the Jewish co-author says in the Greek, it's the Alpha & Omega, but in the Hebrew it's the Aleph & Tav. The Tav he said means "The mark or the sign." He also states that the original pictograph for the Tav was a cross. If true, that means the the 2 original pictographs (the first & the last) both pictographs point to God's salvation through His sacrifice on the cross. If so, Jesus was saying He's what the animal sacrifices represented, and He is the one who would be the ultimate sacrifice on the cross. Again, I can't speak to the validity of this, but it really excited me reading it.
The book is entitled "The Rabbi, the Secret Message, and the Identity of Messiah," by Carl Gallups & Zev Porat. It's the story of one of Israel's most famous Rabbis, Yitzhak Kaduri, and how before he died at 108 years old he claimed he had met Messiah, and that he had written on a piece of paper to be released 1 year after his death. When he passed away the note was a phrase that didn't seem to mention any name. They posted it on their ministry web site for the world to see, but they pulled it down when someone took the first letter of each word in the phrase and it spelled out Yeshua. The book was a great read, as was the first one on the same subject, "The Rabbi Who Met Messiah."

Absolutely mind blowing stuff. I believe that if that was the only scripture we ever had it would be the only one we really need. The sign of the Ox also fits into the Christmas Narrative:

Speaking of the Aleph & the Tav : Zechariah 12:10 ESV 10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, אֵ֣ת on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. I find Zech 12:10 often applied to end times when Israel will see the Messiah and realize that they missed Him when He came the first time. I was reading John the other day and I am feeling Zech 12:10 already has occurred.
John 19:36 For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken.” 37 And again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they have pierced.”
This tells me this was already fulfilled. Not to say it can't happen or won't happen again.
