I feel like the prophecy of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is viewed through a vacuum. Take for instance the Prophet Isaiah and his end times prophecies. Where is her prophecy as applied to mystery Babylon. In Isaiah 1-5 we are shown a few important, I consider important, of the time when the Lord rises in splendor when the Lord alone will be worshipped. 70 AD perhaps? Or still future. We know that when the Lord rises in glory to shake the world is one anti-Christ is on earth. Which leads to an even bigger problem when we are sown end times, the apostate portion of Israel is filled with false gods, riches, military power etc. Where are these prophecies of the end times are to be applied? This was not Israel’s condition in 70 AD not even close. We have managed to turn prophecies into historical books. The Lord said you have reject Me and I came in my Father’s Name but another will come in his own name and him you will accept. They rejected The Christ and will in some future time, a Passover, accept anti-Christ.
if I may let’s move our whole forum into the future waiting for the promised Messiah list for yourself the things anti-Christ would appear to fulfill to be believed by apostate Israel to be the True Messiah? Will start us off with a few. Where must Messiah be born a Gentile family in New Jersey or maybe Russia. Hope that didn’t trick you. What line must Messiah be descended from? King David. The Root of Jesse and so forth. Why if you would not accept a Messiah who did not fulfill the O.T. Prophecies why would you begin to accept the priesthood from the apostate portion of Israel to do so?
as we move from the close of the OT the book of the new are pretty much just like the writing of most any book for style and so forth then you come to the Revelation who in many ways might Out OT prophecy books. There came a time when the Lord God Almighty decided to take a people from among the Gentiles going on a few thousand years now. When this happen the nation and people of Israel were like a train who had to yield to the train the Lord now had on the mailing, so to speak. Soon the times of the gentiles will be at an end and that set aside nation of Israel will once again be on the mainline and that book that is like the other OT prophets will be back and all the Old Testament prophecy with the Revelation as their capstone will be fulfilled 1st to the Jew and then to the gentile.

Really, thinking you are taking this from a Christian mindset and trying to apply it to a Jewish mindset.
The Anti-Christ or the “messiah” that will come to the Jewish people and the world … is going to have the power to deceive the world – possibly even deceive individuals at an individual level. Meaning that one individual will perceive one thing – while another will perceive something completely different.
The current Jewish people are expecting TWO Messiahs. I am not an expert on it, but apparently each of the “two messiahs” will perform (or have different duties).
This is scary since in Revelation we are told of the Son of Perdition and the Prophet. I could see both types being the “two messiahs” being expect.
The point being, we must be careful about “placing our viewpoint on any up coming events. OR possible coming events....

In order to keep somewhat manageable I would like to say this The Revelation is the unsealed prophecy of Daniel's 70 Weeks. That we have such difficulty understanding or explaining it is because we have not sought and applied the entire spectrum of prophecy. The first five chapters of Isaiah is all end times prophetic and is the revealed version of Daniel's 70 Weeks and the Revelation. When we begin to understand what is being played out we will then need to look up for our Redemption is at hand. We have been trying to figure when that time is at hand mostly by hard searching by study, prayer and sharpening each other. But what if like the song I been looking for love ion all the wrong places we have been deceived by the spirit of anti Christian leading us into confusion? We might look and sound like we do presently. Am I claiming I know it all. NO, no, no. But lets look at hear what the Prophet Isaiah wrote of what is going to happen and why it is going to happen. I think some of the prophetic words spoken by Isaiah are nothing less than astounding. First off we should make sure of when this prophecy cover so we do not apply to Israel's history. If you would indulge me a bit and look at the verses not listed yet that tell these events are capped by the Lord God Jesus Christ when He comes in His Glory. If we can agree that this is the condition the nation of Israel will be in on that day the seal Daniel was told to seal his book with begin to open as never before.
Isaiah 1: 2- A Rebellious Nation
2
Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth!
For the Lord has spoken:
“I reared children and brought them up,
but they have rebelled against me.3
The ox knows its master,
the donkey its owner’s manger,
but Israel does not know,
my people do not understand.”
The Judge has convened the court and the charges are read. Interestingly enough when speaking of the One she rejected, Christ, He refers to her not knowing His manger possibly pointing to The Manger.
4
Woe to the sinful nation,
a people whose guilt is great,
a brood of evildoers,
children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the Lord;
they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on him.
5
Why should you be beaten anymore?
Why do you persist in rebellion?
Your whole head is injured,
your whole heart afflicted.
vv. 4-5, The Lord tried over and over again to turn Israel from her harlotries but the apostate portion to this day is still be treated in this way to get her to turn to Him. He longed to pick her up on eagles wings but she refuses.
6
From the sole of your foot to the top of your head
there is no soundness—
only wounds and welts
and open sores,
not cleansed or bandaged
or soothed with olive oil.
vs. 6, This is the Lord's Wife whether she is playing the harlot or not and He wants nothing more to restore her to Himself.
7 Your country is desolate,
your cities burned with fire;
your fields are being stripped by foreigners
right before you,
laid waste as when overthrown by strangers. 8
Daughter Zion is left
like a shelter in a vineyard,
like a hut in a cucumber field,
like a city under siege.
vv. 7-8, here is the siege that will becoming upon apostate Israel at that time. An aside here if you would. The Lord tells us later He placed a hedge around Israel to protect her all these years hopin she would learn Her Master's Manger and Him who was born there The Passover Lamb. like a vineyard picked clean and destroyed her house while filled with splendor, riches and power is like a hut in the field.
9 Unless the Lord Almighty
had left us some survivors,
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah. 10
Hear the word of the Lord,
you rulers of Sodom;
listen to the instruction of our God,
you people of Gomorrah!
Vv. 9- 10, here with unveiled words we are shown the apostate portion of Israel's spiritual condition. What Jeremiah so aptly described as being of uncircumcised hearts. The Lord speaks of survivors which are the faithful remnant who will turn to Christ in the Day of the Lord. Now this is telling us that Israel, the apostate portion, was seen even back in Isaiah's prophecy of spiritually be Sodom and Gomorrah. That the great city of the revelation is shown to us as spiritually Sodom and Egypt until her final condition as mystery Babylon.
11 “The multitude of your sacrifices—
what are they to me?” says the Lord.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure
in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. 12
When you come to appear before me,
who has asked this of you,
this trampling of my courts? 13
Stop bringing meaningless offerings!
Your incense is detestable to me.
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—
I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. 14
Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
I hate with all my being.
They have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
Vv. 11- 14, the temple, anti Christ's is in full swing but apostate Israel thinks she is bring these things to the Lord God of Israel. ANti-Christ coming as a false lamb is showing anti-Christ when he comes will be counterfeiting the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ. Isaiah clearly shows apostate Israel serving in the temple of ant-Christ where he will claim to be God. Anti-Christ is coming at the beginning of that seven year period the 70th Week of Years. The true Passover Lamb returns seven years later on that Passover.
15 When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I hide my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
I am not listening.
Your hands are full of blood!
16 Wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds out of my sight;
stop doing wrong. 17 Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow.
vv. 15- 17, to love mercy and justice is all summed up in Love. It fulfilled the entire Law. Their hands are full of blood and the only Blood God will look on with favor is the shed blood of our Lord.
18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool. 19
If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the good things of the land;
vV. 18- 19, the Lord God Almighty condescends to come to this people, all men, to offer salvation. But men love the darkness as Paul says in Romans.Judgment is the "strange work of God."
20 but if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Vs. 20, but she has always trusted in the hedge the Lord placed around her. The Lord we are told has been trampling the hedge underfoot and instead of turning to Him they have replaced His hedge with the works of their hands, the Wall. This what apostate Isarel has placed her hope/ faith in.
21 See how the faithful city
has become a prostitute!
She once was full of justice;
righteousness used to dwell in her—
but now murderers!
22 Your silver has become dross,
your choice wine is diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels,
partners with thieves;
they all love bribes
and chase after gifts.
They do not defend the cause of the fatherless;
the widow’s case does not come before them.
Vv. 21- 23, the once faithful city has become a prostitute and this is her final spiritual condition as mystery Babylon. When anti-Christ comes and the apostate portion believes he is the long promised Messiah it will be party time in Israel. Riches, power etc, will fill her along with every kind of unclean spirit recall the house swept clean, Israel by the Lord, and upon His being cutoff the house is even more unclean than she has ever been. When anti-Christ comes it will be the final time apostate Israel chooses The Beast, Mt. Sinai, the divided kingdom ends with the Beast anti-Christ. For the apostate portion there will be no more setting judgment aside as the Lord has done with her, continues to do with her until she becomes not the Bride of Christ but the Bride of anti-Christ.
24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
the Mighty One of Israel, declares:
“Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes
and avenge myself on my enemies. 25
I will turn my hand against you;
I will thoroughly purge away your dross
and remove all your impurities. 26
I will restore your leaders as in days of old,
your rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called
the City of Righteousness,
the Faithful City.”
Vv. 24- 26, here is the faithful remnant which escape through the valley opened by the Lord's return on the Mount of Olives. On the apostate portion of the people and their city mystery Babylon judgment is at hand. The Lord declares elsewhere that anti-Christ will be the instrument of His judgment on the apostate portion and fallen Jerusalem. The faithful remnant having escape is a total of 144,000 who having cleansed themselves in This Time of Jacob's Trouble and will become a royal nation of priests who will serve in the Millennial Temple when Gentiles will be called up to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabrnacles to learn of the Lord. For a 1,000 years the Gentile nations will rebel then all of the apostate Gentile nations, Gog and Magog, following Satan to their destruction with only a remnant being saved out of the nations. Isaiah has the mindset I adhere to if that is too Christian then guilty as charged

I have known that these five chapters were separate and distinct from the rest of the book; however, I have understood that they are the introduction. At any rate, it is interesting that you delineate the book as you have. As you may know, Isaiah used historical events to show latter day events in a type and shadow relationship. So after the oracles at about Chapter 23 we get the meat of his work. The chapter that is most telling (in my opinion) is Chapter 28 in which the church leaders are condemned for being drunk on their power over the people. Consequently, the Lord will teach the people via another tongue as in another language as in Russia or China. The chapter is beautiful in it's entirety and forecasts profoundly destructive to the world in general. This theme of the beast rising is repeated throughout the book. So the historical events as given in Isaiah are types of what is coming to us. Please know that venge might disagree with my assessment because he is a new dad. BoL, do you hold to a specific doctrine or denomination?

So the historical events as given in Isaiah are types of what is coming to us. Please know that venge might disagree with my assessment because he is a new dad. BoL, do you hold to a specific doctrine or denomination? thank you your graciousness. I believe that the there is only one sure interpreter of Scripture which is Scripture. So when the prophets speak on those last things they must be the bridge He leads us over via His Holy Spirit.one of my firmest beliefs is that just as God is Spirit and to worship Him must be done in spirit so all of His Word is and must be interpreted likewise. The only folks I know of who fit that mode are His Prophets. So if it doesn’t align with their teaching it is like hitting those blasted speed bumps. Better take care and make sure we align with those people. I would read the prophets and then read revelations then read and listen to End Times ministries etc. I found that far from answering questions they raised more and less seem to fit with their understanding and what the Lord spent all that time sending the prophets and their message. I then heard a teaching on Deuteronomy 32 and realized Israel’s and the church’s was contained in it. The time of the church age was covered with 2 maybe three verses. What was most fascinating for me was the Lord gave this song to Moses and for a very interesting purpose it is to be a witness against them. That is pretty powerful statement. So the need becomes has this song been sung against the apostate portion of Israel, probably the new song only the faithful remnant will be taught. There are things that make it clear that if this was sung anytime in history the song could not have been sung when the Ancient Of Days takes His place in the court. Plus the Lord is referred to as The Rock and one of the charges against Israel is their not only rejecting The Rock but in the time of judgment they have accepted another “Rock.” This false Rock is anti-Christ the prince who is to come in Daniel’s 70 Weeks of Years. A man man named Arthur W Pink has written over 40 commentaries and in my opinion has written the best study on anti-Christ bar none. Mr. Pink unlocks probably the least understood part of Scripture by taking each of us through The Ant-Christ. His works can be found at Christ. Book Distributors, bookstores and a number of places online such as C.C.E. L. Basically i try try and stay having Scripture I interpret Scripture. I have Christians tell me I have to much of Jewish Christian understanding doesn’t align with the Christian understanding. Others tell me understanding is too Gentile doctrine. I am older and I go to many different fellowships from across the Christian experience. For years I took to small churches around where I live to teach how Christ fulfilled the entire Passover. I think I see in the events in the Garden of Eden the seeds that would become the Passover. Briefly we learn certain things in the Garden. The Good Shepherd came seeking His lost sheep. Calling them they heard His voice and came to Him. As we are told in John 10 His sheep do. We learn next that the Innocent was slain in the place of the guilty and that sacrifice covered their sin and the guilty who had died spiritual but not yet physically passed over from death to life.’ Then the Genesis account reveals these further things. Adam and Eve underwent an exodus, a shadow of Egypt’s Israel exodus. Adam and Eve now knew the only acceptable return to God while Cain chose his work and rejected the Lamb. The Passover Seder has a recounting of the Passover in Egypt and we can be pretty sure Adam and Eve told Cain and Abel the story. We find our first little family learned the Time of the Sacrifice. They learned where to offer it on the east side of Eden where the Flaming Sword, the Word Of God Jesus Christ sat upon what would become the Mercy Seat and lastly at the appointed time and place they were to come with a Lamb. It is missed in the account that Abel wasn’t just a good guesser and Cain not so good.The Lord graciously seeking none should perish called upon Cain to dwell in the Land of Nod or Wandering. If Cain had accepted there was only one way Cain could live become a shepherd and to start Cain off the Lord as the Sin-Offering stood outside waiting for Cain to learn of the Lamb of God. Cain rejected the Lord’s Mercy and decided to bring forth the world and all of her system from the direct rebellion of Cain and his line. There is no way to legislate for or change from within these evil systems. If we look at Lot and Abram we have a very interesting example set before us. Lot saw that, walking by sight, that it looked pretty good down by Sodom. The evil got to him so Lot moved into town and took up part of the ruling rulers of Sodom and it was all over but the shouting so to speak. Lot had the world he became part of constantly busting in on him ruining even the heavenly visit. Lot is said to be yanked out of Sodom and losing everyone. A picture of the Rapture and of the ineffectual saving anyone. Abram on the other hand learned his lesson from Egypt when he saw the famine and looked upon the riches of Egypt and followed his eyes as Lot later would. Abram lied in Egypt and wasn’t exactly ready to be Abraham but when he left having the right to all the land as God had given him he humbled self deferred to Lot and trusted his God. Abraham remained a pilgrim and alien in this world and even with the entire world his through Christ looking not for earthly Jerusalem but the one the Lord has gone to finish for us in the Father’s house. Abram received intimate fellowship with the Lord not a few angels. Abram served the Lord and even ministered on behalf of Lot and the two cities. How badly has our witness to and work for the Lord have we squandered by being Lot and not Abraham? A nice aside to all this Abram believed in the Promised Son foreshadowing the Lord Jesus. When Abram and Sarai believed on the Promised Son the Lord breathed into each of them a piece of Himself, His Holy Spirit, And as such the change in their names was part of His Name. Every wondered why the Lord expected, Nicodemus, to know that all men even Israel ‘must be born again. Love to hear more from you.

breathoflife , take a look at the dialogue box of your last posting and you will see that you included your posting in my box. So, when you include someones dialogue box then go below that box to place your posting. That way we can follow a thread of conversation each having their own box in the posting. So if you respond to this posting then drop below this outlined box to start your posting. That is how I do it. Sorry to hear that you fell and I hope that you are recovering well. We have several here that are in difficult situations and I hope for the day that they will be healed of which only Lord Jesus can do. As you may have noticed we have several here at Unsealed that are scripturaly in tune. Several powerhouses like yardstick, mike, venge, natalie, barb, kjs, and others. There are also drop-ins that are heavy hitters like thetimeoftheend, socal, dave, and others. Gary is the benefactor to which we all are grateful for creating the site. Several others write large segments on the main page. Your last post has a lot of information so perhaps you could expand on how you see The Book of Revelation in a vacuum as this thread title suggests. Clearly Chapters 1 through 3 are present day instruction. Then at Chapters 4 and 5 we see the throne of God in the hereafter; after the tribulation era. Chapter 6 is the kingpin that takes us into the drama of the reign of the beast followed by events in Chapters 7 through 11. Then at Chapters 12 through 19 we have parenthetical topics that are basically expansions of Chapters 6 through 11. Last of all are the concluding Chapters of 20 through 22. At least that is how I would summarize the book. Break your paragraphs into smaller segments to make your words easier to read. I notice that you consider the tribe of Judah to be the nation of Israel in contrast to the nation state of Israel. That is, Judah as the nation state of Israel and the nation of Israel are two different things. That is, Israel has twelve tribes whereas the nation state of Israel has only the tribe of Judah. So, please correct me if I am wrong but you consider Judah to be not only the nations state of Israel but also the nation of Israel. Thus, you believe that Judah includes all twelve tribes. In contrast I believe that Judah is only one tribe of twelve. Thus, today we see on the world stage only the tribe of Judah. Of course Benjamin is included in Judah but the other ten are included in Ephraim and this tribe (the remaining ten) are the Christians. It is for that reason that Isaiah speaks of these two groups in metaphorical terms like: "Judah and Jerusalem" (Isa. 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 5:3, etc.), "Jacob and Israel" (Isa. 14:1), etc.

The Lord has had to sheep tending aids one of which is called Favor. The Lord made a covenant with the nations that they could never destroy Israel. We have seen these things in keeping an overwhelming demonic fueled array of nations seeking to do that. is is Cvered very nicely by Isaiah 5 the Lord's vineyard and the removal of the hedge. The second band the Lord had entered into with Israel was their unbreakable unity. This when broken will bring back the divided kingdom. A kingdom divided cannot stand. This divided kingdom will have a northern kingdom made up of 10 of the tribes. The Southern kingdom will be Judah with the other two tribes. This development leads to a number of very important tidbits. The northern kingdom rejected the Lamb and instead set up false religious centers and it appears that when the split takes place the Northern Kingdom will accept anti-Christ as being the Messiah but anti-Christ does not want to rule on any Throne other than the Throne of David. The Southern Kingdom will reject anti-Christ and this is when the covenant with Death? anti-Christ is broken and he and the apostate northern kingdom will come against the southern kingdom. Destroying all but a faithful remnant that escape through the valley created by the Mount of Olives by the returned Lord. Then with the faithful remnant removed anti-Christ and his armies will destroy Jerusalem. Then they are destroyed by the returned Lord. Hope this explains my understanding better. I always have a fond memory of Idaho where years ago I bought a t-shirt at the mall north of Couer D'Alene that said "I'm from IDuho" I thought that was so very clever. Great place and great people and just gorgeous to be in with so many varied natural things to see and do. If I remember we also went to a place, escapes my memory for the name, where it was used for training astronauts for the moon. Am I rembering that correctly or confused with another state. I thought it remarkable.

BoL (breathoflife), thank you for being a good sport. I was surprised to see you separate the first five chapters of Isaiah. Where did you learn that? A new Dad? lol
