I saw something today on a friend's Facebook post that I said looked like a sign. It was a perfect rainbow over the ark encounter in kentucky. Her son works there and took the picture coming in this morning. I didn't even realize it was the 2 year anniversary today. My spirit leaped inside me.I feel like we are close.

I have been thinking about where we go from here now that two years has come and gone. I am entertaining a scenario in my head which I am almost afraid to share because I have been watching since 2011 and all the scenarios I have come up with so far have come and gone. (I know I am not the only watcher who has experienced this). None-the-less, at the risk of this scenario soon falling by the wayside like all the others, I will share what could be a possibility.
I remember back in 2017 how the Revelation 12 sign was an ongoing event. Verses 1-2 came into dramatic alignment on September 23/24, but as the weeks progressed, Jupiter exited Virgo and came close to Venus on November 13. Then on Christmas Day 2017 it entered Libra. This seemed to depict the child, symbolic of the Church, being raptured to meet Christ in the air, then being escorted to God's throne. (Gary had articles detailing all of this). As of this writing, the two year anniversary of these later parts of the sign are yet to come and will complete on Christmas Day 2019.
What if the rapture were to happen between now and the end of 2019? Perhaps on one of the remaining feast days, or at some point in November in conjunction with the annual observance of Noah's flood, or perhaps on Christmas Day when Christians celebrate the birth of the Church's head.
I increasingly think there will be a gap between the rapture and the start of Daniel's 70th week to give the antichrist time to rise to power (I suppose this would mean the seals start to be opened after the rapture but before Daniel's 70th week begins, though the 70th week could begin at some point during the opening of the seals). If the rapture happened in late 2019, then the antichrist could have the better part of a year to come to power before Daniel's 70th week would have to begin in the fall of 2020. This could be when Ezekiel 38 occurs as well. If Daniel's 70th week started in October or November of 2020, then it could end around the Jewish feast days of 2027 which would put it right at the 80th anniversary of the UN partition of Palestine in November 1947. It would also be about 6 month from the 80th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel in May 1948.
If 80 is the long end of a generation as indicated in Psalm 90, then this scenario would just fit everything in with 6 months to spare before Israel hits that generational marker. It would also incorporate the 2 year anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign.
We shall see. I know we're all weary and ready to go.

bruce - not sure we've met but you've been on the forum for some time, welcome back. It's all plausible of course. Personally I don't see things the way I once did. I'm not as inclined to think we all go 'poof' on a given day, rather we are changed at the last Trump. We can be with Him evermore in new bodies that do not have the physical limitations. There is no requirement for us to disappear to not be subject to wrath. When we see Him we shall be as He is. After His resurrection He stayed a while, ate food, was touched, walked through walls etc.

mike, you say you aren’t so sure we all go poof.. The Bible says we are hidden away. Can you clarify what you are thinking a bit more?

mike , you say you aren’t so sure we all go poof.. The Bible says we are hidden away. Can you clarify what you are thinking a bit more? Please remind which verse you are referring to? My thought process did not come in one post or overnight but took some time to digest. I am not saying that 100% proof that it is not a possibility that the Lord will remove a few billion people from this world. God certainly can. But as I contemplate things I had to remove the Hollywood version of the rapture and start debating certain verses. First and foremost I had to reevaluate being dogmatic about a 7 year tribulation where God removes every single Christian from the planet then pours out His wrath on the remaining unbelieving world. Through much dialogue here with our brothers and sisters with study, reading and re-reading certain verses, in context I am no longer positive of the way things play out. I am open to a rapture event happening where God snatches those who call Him Lord out of this world into heaven. If this happens this way then HALLELUJAH!!!!! I am all for it. But to not have my eyes clouded by locking into a dogma which can be incorrect I've considered other possibilities, like a rapture that looks different than what is taught and one that may be (at any time) during the 42 months. (I also an uncertain of 3.5 + 3.5, rather only see it one time) So when we look at 1 John 3:2 ( Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.) From this verse we can understand that when He appears we will be like Him. What did He look like? Luke 24:15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed [together] and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.... 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed [it], and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.... 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43 And he took [it], and did eat before them.
So Jesus appeared in rooms/walked through walls or closed doors (John 20:19) yet had flesh and bone and ate food. Still two disciples walked and talked with Him and didnt know who He was for quite some time. Then their eyes were opened, WOW! Similarly Thomas said "no way He is risen, until I touch Him I dont believe it" - Thomas put his fingers in the holes in Jesus hands. (John 20:24-25, 27). Mary thought He was a gardener (John 20:15). FIVE apostles and two of the 70 didnt recognize Him (John 21:2-4) SO if we are changed to be like Him...What else was He doing after He rose from the dead in addition to the examples above? More of what He did before He was crucified; preaching, teaching and demonstrating the Kingdom and proving His resurrection to MANY. Do you think that Jesus was in the heavenlies or bound by the physical limitations of this world? He vanished and walked through walls!! That just blows my mind 1Thes 4:17 ( Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together (harpazo) with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.) Clouds and air are part of this earth, not the third heaven Another piece I consider is Jesus is the firstfruit (of many bretheren) - 1 Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Now I believe this verse is related to the resurrection and doubtfully any would disagree. What does it mean to be 'firstfruits'? Brother Jaco Prinsloo did a very nice exposition on this and his video ( Part 1 & part 2) is better than I can explain here however in a nutshell Jesus is the first portion of wave offering before the Lord, then comes the main harvest, leaving the corners for the poor. The harvest does not happen all at once but in stages. Jesus was resurrected first as a part of the First Resurrection. We are included in that. Look at Rev 20:5-6 which would help to confirm this... Now when I was considering these things I came across another area that really stuck out to me that I could reconcile. If the firstfruits viewpoint holds any water. If we are part of firstfruits/the first resurrection then how do I explain this Rev 14:4 (... These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.) When we are changed at the last trumpet and become like Him and will be with Him forever more in the 'clouds' or the 'air', wont we follow Him wherever He goes, like sheep with their Shepherd? Moreover how could any man in his fleshly earth suit ever be considered without fault or guile before the throne? Rev 14:5 ( And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.) - We cant, no one can until we are fully redeemed. There are no 12,000 Jews from 12 different tribes who are undefiled before the Lord. We all are sinful and require redemption. Believing that there are 144,000 Jews that are on earth today or soon to come into the world and will live a perfect life is contrary to doctrine and needs to be reconciled properly. This is a potential means to that end as the book of Revelation is very allegorical as well as spiritual in many aspects and should be viewed as completely physical in my estimation. Theres a lot in my head that I have challenges getting onto the screen. I am not a writer and sincerely hope God will help you me and others gain a better understanding of the times that are upon us and His soon return Acts 1:11

mike, very interesting thoughts. Like you, my thoughts have changed over the last few days. The verses discussing the 10 virgins is what got me to thinking that perhaps I was wrong. 5 virgins watched and prepared. 5 did not watch and were unprepared. Could this possibly be an analogy of those Christians that are watching and aware the time is very close and those that scoff. All have been saved but...is it possible that those that scoff (are totally unprepared for Christ to return and the rapture) will they remain while those that are prepared are taken? What are your thoughts?

mike I am singing Amen to your posts! in re to the 10 virgins.. it was pointed out to me that both groups KNOW their Lord. Both have "oil". Yet one group relies on the other to keep them prepared.. this group resting not in their own faith so to speak... it was suggested to me that this is a picture of state of the churches..not the state of believers verses non believers.. And not even specifically a lesson on watchers. It is analogy of where one puts his faith.. putting faith in the Lord Hi self to fully seek His voice directly or putting faith in others to tell you what the Lord is saying..

Theres a lot in my head that I have challenges getting onto the screen. Our sins have been deleted. Yes, we still sin, but when we are changed, that will no longer happen. Remember this:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs." 1 Cor. 13:4-5
" God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16
You say we are all sinful and require redemption. Quite right, but Jesus has already redeemed those who believe!

What are your thoughts? the 10 virgins is often read into quite a bit and therefore misinterpreted in my estimation. I think this problem stems from the basic understanding or lack thereof of what salvation means. Salvation is never faith + ______ (works, I am paying attention, I tithe, I do not fornicate, I do not commit adultery, I do not steal...) there is no other qualifier for salvation as it is found in Christ's sacrifice on the cross, period, end of atonement. We are either all taken (who believe) or none, faith is the sole qualifier. There is no merit system to salvation to say the homeless drug addict who acknowledges Christ is not watching and like the 5 unprepared virgins and the mega-church pastor is like the 5 prepared virgins. EDIT - Who is Jesus speaking about the Jews or the Church? Also to consider is the parables following this one. What is Jesus explaining about the talents? What message is He trying to get across to the audience? The next parable is the sheep and the goats? Again when you think on this there was no church yet. the mystery of the church had yet to be revealed.

mike, just in case I may have been hinting of something to do with Faith plus works... Let me clarify, the unprepared virgins can be lumped into those adding works to faith, and not the other way around. The parable is not about salvation from how I understand it. "A person believing is the good one and the unbeliever is SOL and a door shut in his face"..no, this is not what the 10 virgins is saying. To me this parable has become a story of the condition of the heart. Can it be that many a person self-judges? The person says, I am worthy, I am good, I do this, I do that for the Lord, so as to be worthy... which is what I am reading hinted in your reply above. There is not one act of anything we can do to do anything in regard to being saved. Christ did that in His sacrifice. We are told to rest in and have Faith that it was done for us. That is a form of work, I guess, but more of it is resting and not doing so to speak. Rest in Him,, for like your entire life being, while you are in this body type of thing. Being prepared for His arrival is NOT being caught up in the world or whatever else causes us to deafen our ears while we wait for that Voice..His Voice. Waiting to see what else you have to add.

The 5 virgins lacked oil. Oil is wisdom. Psalms makes that known. The beginning of wisdom is fear of God. The 5 did not fear him. They may have believed but most likely didn’t repent or if they had, turned back to the world. Their fear of the end was asking to borrow oil to save themselves. Why didn’t they know how to get oil or why were they not caring about having it earlier?

Why didn’t they know how to get oil or why were they not caring about having it earlier? They were probably binge-watching Game of Thrones. This made me laugh! But... it also reminded me of the episode of Vikings where they talked about the Revelation 12 Sign Episode 7 "Full Moon" of Vikings Season 5 (aired on January 3, 2018) is all about strategy as the episode leads up to the massive battle for Kattegat. Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh) is still trying to work out if Heahmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is an honorable man. I could not find a video of the clip but here is the dialogue: Even the greatest artists recognize that they owe their talent to God, and that their work is for His glory and not for their own. I never actually met my Met Athelstan. But from what I have heard about him, he was a kind and humble man. I wish I could tell you more about him. All I know is that, on that terrible day, which some thought was the Day of Judgment, many of the monks were killed here. Others drowned themselves trying to escape the wrath of the Northmen. But I understand some were taken away in their boats and sold into slavery. There is even a story that one of them returned, later, to these shores. He was an apostate who had abandoned God and embraced the pagan way of life. Perhaps it was all part of God's will. That seems unlikely. Which doesn't make it untrue. Prince, may I ask you, who was this monk to you? An inspiration. Was he not crucified, as an apostate? Yes. But he rose again. I have his cross, here. But, if you never met him It was given to me by Ragnar Lothbrok. Ragnar Lothbrok? He led that raid on this island. He was the devil incarnate! My Lord Abbot, all I know is that the world is not a simple place. There is good and evil in everything, and in everyone. We are all, all of us, devils and angels. You might like to put that into one of your sermons. There is something else you might consider. That you stop conducting all your business in Latin. Most people don't speak Latin so they think of you as superior beings, which, as you explained, isn't true, since you are so humble and work only for the glory of God. But God can be glorified and addressed in English. And that way, all the people here can share your love and understanding for Him. As well as share all the knowledge contained in all those books in your library. It's only a thought. HEAHMUND: "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, "a woman clothed with the sun, "and the moon beneath her feet, "and upon her head "a crown of 12 stars.
" Who is the woman? The Virgin.
Mary, mother of our God, Jesus Christ. If she was a virgin, how could she be a mother? It was a miracle. (SNICKERS) I would say so. Are there not many miraculous things in your faith? Like the serpent whose body holds in the sea? That's not a miracle. That is true. Read more: www.springfieldspringfield.co.uk/view_episode_scripts.php?tv-show=vikings&episode=s05e07
