This is a video from Barry Scarbrough regarding this topic. Very informative on the events taking place and ties in the Ezekiel 38 verses. Whether you are interested in this topic or not, I implore you to watch to it. I know some don't like to watch video's and it is 30 minutes, but I ask that you try and make some time. Interesting to me that he talks about Turkey, Iran and Russia as an axis of evil in reference to the WWII axis countries (Germany, Italy, Japan). That's exactly what my thought was as they made their alliance two years ago. At about the 20 minute mark he also talks about how Turkey, Iran and Russia came together about 3 weeks ago and created a task force to rewrite Syria's constitution. They are taking over this country politically and militarily as their forces are invading it. It's not that Ezekiel 38 might happen or is going to happen. It is happening now. I agree with him. He's a pre-trib guy, which is great, and believes we will be gone by the time they actually go into Israel. I pray he is right, but right now I'm not so sure as he is. I'm more of a Pre-wrath/Mid-trib guy now, but to me that's not as important as looking at what is going on here seeing how it's relating to scripture.

sog, Thank you for that powerful video clip. We are on the cusp of seeing Ezekiel 38 in real time. I also wonder if we are going to be here to see Isaiah 17 - the total and utter annihilation of Damascus. Such destruction that Damascus will never be inhabited again. Damascus is the oldest inhabited city in the worlds history. This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. So too, Ezekiel 38. Why will Damascus be destroyed? Because of satanic hordes that have now taken over Syria and are preparing a massive invasion of Israel. Isaiah 17:14 tells us this:- In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning they are gone. This is the portion of those that loot us, the lot of those who plunder us". Who is the "us" in this prophecy? Israel ! God's Holy Land. Does this prophecy happen in unison with Ezekiel 38? Maybe. Maybe not. Isaiah 17:10-11 says this has been allowed to happen (invasion of Israel) because they (Israel) have forgotten Him - the God of Israel. Israel will be attacked so severely, there will be little left. Just a few gleanings. I will link Isaiah 17 as it ties exactly into Ezekiel 38. We must take major comfort in the fact that we Bible believing Christians are NOT appointed to wrath...which is coming swiftly. www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+17&version=NIV

@reepicheep, That was VERY interesting. I acknowledge Amir's superior knowledge of the region and the tactical games played between Sunni v Shi'ite and all the other warring factions. However, I do feel he is being naive in his defence of POTUS'. Amir assumes that POTUS is simply standing by his campaign promises to get precious USA troops out of "endless wars" etc. But, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. When this all kicked off, POTUS was tweeting stuff out that fully suggested that he had green-lighted Turkish aggression. POTUS initially washed his hands of the Kurds. Justifying it with statements like "there's a lot of sand over there - let them fight over it" etc. "The Kurds are no angels"...I could go on. It was only when a massive backlash ensued that POTUS sprang into action with his diplomatic offensive. Which, by the way, has resulted in POTUS hailing Erdogan as a "great guy - great leader - a wonderful ally of the USA". Pardon? To go from threatening to destroy Turkey economically on one day and claiming Best Friends Forever the next...it would be funny if it weren't so tragic. BTW - Erdogan announced today - October 18th - that he has NOT agreed to a ceasefire at all. He has merely agreed to a "pause". Contradicting all of POTUS' self congratulation on a great deal, that will save millions of lives.
To claim that he is withdrawing American troops out of harms way is admirable. But, to follow that up by promptly sending 1,000 plus troops to Saudi Arabia simply nullifies that sentiment. It is blatantly contradictory. Proving that POTUS is not taking America out of the game at all. Tactical chess board moves are being employed. America is THE most powerful nation on this planet - militarily. On a side note - a direct translation of the word "Rosh" means "Head". As in Rosh Hashanna means Head of the Year.
We watch this space, reepicheep !!

I am 100% convinced, that Donald Trump is used by God to prepare the ground for Ez38 and other things to happen soon. I (and surely most watchmen too) am not watching from a merely human or geopolitical perspective but from a prophetical perspective. And I know with 100% certainty, that our God is perfectly orchestrating this whole thing which often seems to be a total mess from our limited perspective.
And this gives me peace. Beyond human understanding
Sidenote:
DT has in the past often proved to be a man of his word. (i.e. his stance on abortion and pro-life, his proclaiming Jerusalem as capitol of Israel, to name a few)
We need to be very careful when it comes to judge someone according to his words and/or deeds. This is something we should leave to God. Not our job.
If we'd put ourselves in the shoes of someone, are we sure we would've made a better decision? Think about it.... (whoever reads this)

AMEN BROTHER - All too often we believers cast judgment and condemnation on others who do not meet our standard. We think it is Gods standard that we apply to others. We dont have the right to do that only HE DOES. God forgive us for being judgmental to others Matt 7:1-5

@reepicheep, mike, These are very good points. And I fully accept that I am being vociferous in my condemnations. Of course our Almighty God is the judge. I have answered these things in the shoutbox (I hadn't read here yet - sorry). I still maintain that we should demand more from our leaders. Stand up for Almighty God. Stick our heads above the parapet and cry "FOUL" when we see it. POTUS' voter base is evangelical Christians, for goodness sake. If I voted for a vegan, I would be outraged to see him tucking into a giant beef burger.

raindrop barbiosheepgirl MTGuest I see the shoutbox comments filled and scrolled off the screen. I want to make something clear on the point I was trying to make and from what I could read BSG was expounding further. Although POTUS is accountable for pulling out of Syria it is not a surprise to God. In fact it certainly is part of the plan. How this fits in the plan I'm sure will sense at some point (hopefully soon). The point I was trying to make was the media finger pointing. Why is it that Erdogan/Turkey attacking Kurds is POTUS fault? Shouldn't that be placed on Turkey. Keeping our troops there, potentially in harms way to prevent this is assumption. Do we know for 100% that if US troops remained, Turkey would still be at bay? Do we know how the troops or their families feel about this? (Rhetorical) We know the outcome of this all. We know we're in the literal last days. Middle East turmoil is a given. While I feel for the Kurdish people I am reminded of what Jesus said in Luke 13:1-4 everyone needs to be prepared to meet the Lord face to face. None are guaranteed tomorrow and while this is horrific it is not surprising. And to BSG I am shouting you down with AMEN (not the other way around 😄) I have been pondering similar things about the beast system loathing what is happening to it. Control and power had been taken away. Lawlessness and rampant iniquity were put in check with this POTUS (not because of him but HIM) and the beast is certainly worth! Did the world have as many "earthquakes" when the former president was in power? Yes there were some but not in every country like we see today, and not in America. The works couldn't be more split on social justice issues. Things that seem like good causes but are far from truth

The Mass Revolt going on in Lebanon right now ... shows the entire region is becoming a "powder keg".....

Totally supports the point of the entire world shaking! I know we may see earthquakes as the planet shaking but in Jesus day it could refer to political commotion, which is just about everywhere. I may be alone in this, but we are seeing the greatest earthquake in history in our time

Hello friends, kjs, Brother I can't even begin to tell you how much i wish/ hope you are right. I have changed my view 180 on several end times issues. I think an attack on Israel, or a ginormous EMP or actual construction of the temple would cause many watchmen to be unified, that it was a water- breaking event. kjs, you mentioned the fuse has been lit. Do i understand you correctly in that you also think there will be some kind of warning before the harpazo/rapture? Disciple4Life

Headline - Russia, Turkey reach 'historic' deal on Syria border news.yahoo.com/putin-erdogan-meet-ahead-syria-deadline-075902738.htmlFrom link - Russia and Turkey agreed on Tuesday to ensure Kurdish forces withdraw from areas close to Syria's border with Turkey and to launch joint patrols, in a deal hailed as "historic" by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After marathon talks in Russia's southern city of Sochi, Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced the deal just hours ahead of a deadline for Turkey to restart its assault on Syrian Kurdish forces. The agreement cements Russia and Turkey's roles as the main foreign players in Syria, after US President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of American forces from the country's north earlier this month. That announcement cleared the way for Turkey to launch a cross-border offensive on October 9 against the Kurdish YPG militia, viewed by Ankara as "terrorists" linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Turkey has seized control of a "safe zone" inside Syria about 120 kilometres long (75 miles) and 32 kilometres (20 miles) deep. Tuesday's agreement with Moscow will see it preserve that zone between the towns of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain, giving Ankara a crucial presence inside the country. From noon (0900 GMT) on Wednesday, Russian military police and Syrian border guards will "facilitate the removal" of Kurdish fighters and their weapons from within 30 kilometres (18 miles) of the border. This withdrawal must be finalised within 150 hours, according to a text of the agreement released after the talks. So 150 hours for the Kurds to withdraw. To where? And if they don't?

Headline - Erdogan’s Ambitions Go Beyond Syria. He Says He Wants Nuclear Weapons. www.enmnews.com/2019/10/21/erdogans-ambitions-go-beyond-syria-he-says-he-wants-nuclear-weapons/From link - Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, wants more than control over a wide swath of Syria along his country’s border. He says he wants the Bomb. In the weeks leading up to his order to launch the military across the border to clear Kurdish areas, Mr. Erdogan made no secret of his larger ambition. “Some countries have missiles with nuclear warheads,” he told a meeting of his governing party in September. But the West insists “we can’t have them,” he said. “This, I cannot accept.” With Turkey now in open confrontation with its NATO allies, having gambled and won a bet that it could conduct a military incursion into Syria and get away with it, Mr. Erdogan’s threat takes on new meaning. If the United States could not prevent the Turkish leader from routing its Kurdish allies, how can it stop him from building a nuclear weapon or following Iran in gathering the technology to do so? Well he already has approx 50 of the USA's nukes at a base in his country already. Think he'll just give them back?
