Greetings to everyone! I just joined here today after being referred here by someone yesterday! Looks to be a great site and I'm still learning my way around.
Briefly, got born again at age 42 (almost 66 soon!) and find it harder and harder to find solid Bible teaching, esp. with prophesy which I enjoy discussing very much. Good to know discussions here will be consider, respectful and Christlike ... too many Christian forums let people troll, trash, fuss and fight. Who needs that? I don't!
Anyhow, I'm originally from Washington State but now live in the country with my hubs in Indiana.

Welcome, Marcigal! My wife has two brothers in Indiana, near Martinsville. We have a number of other friends in the state as well.

Hi Everyone! I just joined yesterday after being referred by a friend on TB2K. I was happy to read your doctrinal stand and I'm so glad to have found you.
I've been a prophecy devotee since before my days in Bible College in Miami over 50 years ago (Yikes, I'm old!) As the years go on, I find fewer and fewer who are interested in prophecy when it's basically #1 on my radar. I'm sure I'm like many of you who feel a little alone in my excitement and anticipation of coming events.
My husband Buzz and I serve at a fabulous mega church here in Atlanta where we see life change every week. The only thing that's missing is end times teaching.
I'm looking forward to fellowshipping with you!

Hi thank you this wonderful place of fellowship. I'm looking forward to going home soon. Right now I'm in a position where I need to renew my apartment lease. My lease is up on October 31, 2017. Are any of you in this same situation? I just sure what to do right now. Any insight would be helpful. 😊 Thank you,

Joyful, welcome to the forum! My best advice to you would be to continue planning as if the Lord might continue to wait to return, but live your life as if He might take us home to be with Him in the next second.

Thank you so much for your warm welcome. My only concern is all my belongings will be in the apartment and I won't be here. Please understand I'm not attached to these things but I will feel bad everything will be left unattended and will not be here to take are of things. I don't want to neglectful.

Joyful,
we are going to our annual spot the weekend of Sept 23rd...It is a 1000 miles from where we live and we drive there to get there. We have 11 dogs. Some come with us...I am slightly anxious that the Lord will call us when we are half way there and we have our dogs left in our vehicle, plus, all the dogs at home unattended, and those who care for our home & dogs are believers, so will also be gone...its a weird thought process...yet, I should not worry of these things. Stay focused on standing firm in His Word, share the Gospel, WATCH for him as we are asked to do. Pray often.
hugs,

Welcome, Joyful!
I second what whatif said.
I had thoughts about buying school curriculum for this year if we were only going to have about 4 weeks of school. But, we just keep going and doing what needs to be done while keeping a watch for Him.
I had similar thoughts the other day when it came to the fact that some of our bills will go unpaid. I like being responsible and making sure things get taken care of. God knows your heart; leave those things up to Him.
