Alright. I have two or three things I need to ask or say.
The first: I have been thinking about the things I have posted. Have I been tiresome? Have I been too negative, and am I not acting like Christ? I know how people can be irritating on a forum. I am prideful, but I realize that I may have been irritating. Have I? Do you have complaints about my conduct or my doctrine? If so, please, speak. I appreciate candor, and I ask that you all be brutally honest. I will try to fix what you tell me.
The second: I have noticed the high level of strife, battling, and conflict on the board. Brad, gregt, and bloodredmoon have all left because of this. I implore you, please, let us resist the devil. "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice." -Paul This is my second church, and my community of believers. You guys are my source of knowledge, yes, but you are also my brothers and sisters. It tears me apart when people leave, and when people fight. Please, let it stop! Fight Satan, and put on the Armor of God.
Third: I need prayer. I have never shared the Good News. Thus, I am a failing Christian, and an uncaring soul to others, for I am letting them into an eternity of hell. I am scared to death, for I will have to sacrifice my social life on the altar of God. I know this is a false god. That doesn't stop the fear. I need prayer, that God will strengthen and guide me, and that we will grow closer in love, and that I can finally face myself, and give up my life so I may gain it. Please, pray that I will be scantified, for I feel so far from the Lord! I am so prideful, and I have treated Jesus's sacrifice like a worthless thing. I am of the worst of men. Pray that I may serve Him well by sharing Him, and that I may draw close to Him, and that I may become less sinful.
If you have any tips for evangilism, that would be wonderful. Thank you for reading this. Please respond.

Alright. I have two or three things I need to ask or say. The first: I have been thinking about the things I have posted. Have I been tiresome? NO! Have I been too negative, NO! and am I not acting like Christ? I think you are acting as much like Christ as nearly anyone here, as far as I can tell. . . we all, being imperfect, have room for improvement, but you certainly do not stand out to me as not acting like Christ on this forum. I know how people can be irritating on a forum. I am prideful, I have this problem too, believe me, pride is a terrible sin and I am very guilty of it in my past and sometimes it crops up in my present. Let's pray for each other, ok? but I realize that I may have been irritating. Have I? NO, not in my opinion. Do you have complaints about my conduct or my doctrine? No. I mean, if there are any differences in your doctrine, they have not been enough to be of immediate concern, as far as I know. If so, please, speak. I appreciate candor, and I ask that you all be brutally honest. I will try to fix what you tell me. You probably have areas to work on, but so do we all! Nothing jumps out as particularly sinful. I think mostly we need to encourage you (and all the rest of each other) in the Lord more often. Let us love one another, for love is of God. NOTE: Every person God has made has a slightly different personality. Your personality is different from anyone else's God has made, because He makes each of us unique. You have strengths and weaknesses, and so does each of us. I really admire your strengths, and you display them well on the board. Also, I have not particularly noticed you being too proud on here, which is one thing you mentioned above. Don't confuse pride with intensity, they are not the same thing. Intensity is not wrong. You are an intense person, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. In fact I find it refreshing because you are quick to try to get us all back on track if we stray a little. That is a strength, not a fault. If you struggle with pride, I have not noticed. The second: I have noticed the high level of strife, battling, and conflict on the board. Yes. It is a sad thing. Brad, gregt, and bloodredmoon have all left because of this. I implore you, please, let us resist the devil. Yes. "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice." -Paul Yes.This is my second church, and my community of believers. That truly makes me feel very special, and I'm honored you feel that way. You guys are my source of knowledge, yes, but you are also my brothers and sisters. Yes. It tears me apart when people leave, and when people fight. Please, let it stop! Fight Satan, and put on the Armor of God. Amen. Admittedly, sometimes it is difficult to tell whether it is God or Satan behind an individual we are interacting with. . . . satan can present himself as an angel of light, and it does take a lot of prayer and discernment. We have had a LOT of spiritual warfare on this site and unfortunately it is never a pretty sight although it is necessary to contend actively for the faith (all the while doing it in a loving fashion!). I am personally sorry for any time I have not been loving, if this is the case. And I ask yours and anyone else's forgiveness.Third: I need prayer. You've got it! Praying now. I have never shared the Good News. Praying for you. BTW, until recently, it was hard for me to share the Good News. I experienced the spiritual paralysis you seem to be having. This is something all of the rest of us need to pray for you about, and pray for each other about. Rom 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." We ALL need to increase our courage to stand up and spread the Good News of our Lord. But HOW? I'll get to that in a minute. . . Thus, I am a failing Christian, Ouch, harsh words for yourself there, but frankly, I can't argue with your logic. I was there myself until a couple years ago. God has helped me mostly overcome my fear, although I still have it sometimes. and an uncaring soul to others, Ouch again, and yes, again, I have been very guilty of this myself. for I am letting them into an eternity of hell. Poignantly and sadly true. I will help you every way I can to overcome this. I am scared to death, I know! for I will have to sacrifice my social life on the altar of God. I may not understand everything this will mean in your case, but I know what it is to lose friends and to have my own family ridicule and distance themselves from me because of my Gospel of Christ and the stand I take for Him and my (sometimes) genuiness before Him in public. I know this is a false god. That is accurate. That doesn't stop the fear. I know, Beloved. I need prayer, Praying for you again right now. that God will strengthen and guide me, and that we will grow closer in love, and that I can finally face myself, and give up my life so I may gain it. He is going to help you do this, and you have laid it out there accurately and plainly. You have made an important step by recognizing this fault, this sin, this need in your life and asking for help. I HAD TO DO THIS TOO. Please, pray that I will be scantified, Praying now. "Father, please sanctify Beloved for your service, in Jesus' precious name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen!" for I feel so far from the Lord! Recognizing this fact, is an important first step to solving the problem. I am so prideful, and I have treated Jesus's sacrifice like a worthless thing. Wow. You have hit the nail on the head, and you have described how I lived WAY too many years of my life. We both are guilty of this sin, and must cry out to our Savior for cleansing. I am of the worst of men. No, I've got you beat. Ok, we both are. Pray that I may serve Him well by sharing Him, Praying all over again right now. and that I may draw close to Him, Ohhhh, yes. and that I may become less sinful. Amen. If only half the people on our forum would take that approach, we would have a revival right here. GOOD NEWS: Soon He will take away all our ability to sin!If you have any tips for evangilism, that would be wonderful. I'm going to try to address this in a separate post. Thank you for reading this. Any time. We love you. Please respond. No! (Jut kidding).

Ok, regarding sharing the GREAT news of the Gospel. Beloved, you have done well to recognize that this a great need in your life, to overcome this problem. What I'm saying here, I hope to be helpful not just to you, but to anyone and everyone else who comes along and reads it.
One of the best things to do is read, meditate, and memorize some of God's key passages. Here are some, in (maybe) random order. Some may not seem like they are directly addressing the topic at hand, but they, I trust, will help to focus us on the proper mindset for the proper actions.
Prayerfully read these Scriptures.
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Mat 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Mat 10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; Mat 10:18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. Mat 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. Mat 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Mat 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Mat 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mat 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Mat 10:31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Mat 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Mat 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Mat 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Mat 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Mat 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Mat 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. Mat 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Mat 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. Mat 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Mat 14:32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Mat 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Mat 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Mat 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? Mat 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Mat 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Mat 19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Mat 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Mat 19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Mat 21:28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. Mat 21:29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. Mat 21:30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Mat 21:31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. Mat 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
Mat 22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, Mat 22:3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Mat 22:4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. Mat 22:5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: Mat 22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Mat 22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Mat 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. Mat 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Mat 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Mat 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Mat 24:47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. Mat 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; Mat 24:49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; Mat 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, Mat 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. Mat 25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Mat 25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. Mat 25:17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. Mat 25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. Mat 25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. Mat 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. Mat 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mat 25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. Mat 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mat 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: Mat 25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. Mat 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Mat 25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Mat 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. Mat 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
And that's just from Matthew! I will add just a few others:
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. Joh 21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
Joh 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. Joh 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Joh 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Php 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I want to answer your question about evangelization, and give additional view on the issue. Before I expand, let me put it in summary:
- I believe God is doing the drawing to Himself, not human, so God will lead you to say what you need to say, when you need to say it - Your role and gifts God gave you might not include evangelism - You can't be better or worse Christian by doing some specific works (every saved human does some works for God, and fails at others)
When Jesus was preparing apostles about getting caught and being brought to justice for spreading the Gospel, He told them: "On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."
What He was saying to them, to ease their minds, is that Holy Spirit is with them and that even in most stressful situations they will witness how God wants them to witness. They don't have to think about it.
Before he consoled them, He gave them the message to proclaim to people: "The kingdom of heaven has come near." That's it. That's all He told them to say, as we have recorded. This short sentence confirms right there that Holy Spirit is leading people to witness, because if it weren't so, we would have gotten much detailed instruction on how to do it.
Imagine, one's salvation depends of whether he or she will accept Jesus Christ, yet Jesus gives the simplest, shortest sentence to use when witnessing. Why? Again, because Holy Spirit is leading the witnessing, not human.
And Jesus told us that His sheep know His voice, so when they hear His voice, they will follow Him. What does that mean? It means that short message given to the right person will produce result, while you can become blue in the face and get nowhere if the person you are wittnesing to is not of the right soil. Take a look at parable of the soil to see how same seed doesn't give same results.
Next, Paul talks how Church is one body, and body has different parts and functions. Everybody within the body of the Church is certain part of the body and has certain function and role. Paul says that no role is small or insignificant however it might look. He even says it's the opposite: "Those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment." The same applies to gifts. Everybody gets different gifts, but they all come from God. Read about both gifts and body parts of the Church in 1 Corinthians 12.
Finally, everybody does some works for God, and fails at the others. Even the foundational Jesus' command to love neighbour like ourselves is of tall order.
I can expand more on this, but maybe this is enough to get you thinking in this direction.
P.S. As for witnessing itself, I would start with shorter message, and that would be a Gospel: "Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He paid for our sins on the cross, with His blood, and was resurrected by God the Father. If you believe this, if you accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, you are saved." You can then go from there, or not, depending on the situation. Remember the parable of the soil - not everybody is of the same soil. Also, sometimes what you say will produce results later, not immediately. You don't need to be smooth talker or persona, or to apply some techniques to get attention or get the person warmed up before you present them the Gospel. Take a look at what Paul says: "I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power."
P.P.S. Aside you talking, I think great universal suggestion about evangelizing is to propose to people to read John. Just tell them to get the Bible, or even give them the Bible yourself, and suggest to them to read John. John makes the case for believing in Jesus.
