I don't know if you guys know about Rachel Scott, but in her journals she wrote how she couldn't see herself having a future and that she couldn't foresee herself growing up. I kind of can relate with that. I can't see myself in 5 years, I can't even see myself past this year. I have this overwhelming feeling that my life will be over soon. I don't know if anyone else ever felt this way, but that is what has been on my mind for months. Even before I saw the rev 12 sign, even before I went on this website.

I would not have known about Rachel; except Gary had stared a thread here for I am not ashamed -- unsealed.boards.net/thread/515/ashamedIn the movie (and if anyone has not seen it -- please do so) -- She makes clear in several scenes that "She cannot imagine a future"..... Knowing the "rest of the story" -- we know why that is... I have never felt that way per se.... especially, with work we are always planning what future work we will be doing -- several time I had to remind myself, that it is possible we will not be around in the next six months.

I feel very much like my mundane current life will soon be over. Absolutely. Last night, working with my Catholic coworker, I was able to help him realize a clear assurance of his salvation. I didn't ask him to stop being a Catholic, that's not the point. I did point out to him that the Catholic church teaches some false doctrines, and these doctrines confuse people and make it difficult for them to understand how salvation functions. After we talked, he made a clear confession of faith in Christ alone, and not of works, to save him from his sins.

Followed by "you are going to feel more loved than you could ever imagine". My personal policy is that, "personal revelations are personal", but I can vouch for this - it's awesome.

He offered himself for my sins - He already has loved me more that I can imagine! In His presence will I experience that in its fullness😃.

I appreciate all I'm reading here. It seems you all are sound in doctrine and doing your homework before posting your insights. There is a big difference between what God is actually speaking to us and what the Holy Spirit has to say to those who have an ear to hear in our own time (as in any other) Human interpretation is subject to the Author's intent not vice versa. The apostasy in the present church age (or what some call the post Christian era) is all about human error and carnally minded "believers" trying to translate a language they haven't yet themselves taken time to spiritually discern. The Language from Heaven. Only TRUTH is spoken there. What is written for us from every true prophet of Israel down through the ages and the apostles of our Living Lord Jesus Christ (the promised Messiah of Israel and Savior of the whole world) can be trusted. Revelation 2:11 should be our key to understanding. Without understanding "knowledge" is meaningless.

i'm still navigating this site and reading through all of your posts. Please forgive me if I'm not doing this right because I'm still quite "TC" .. I didn't grow up learning to use a computer and am still learning even though I've been through more than a few courses so I can learn. I've spent almost 50 years listening as closely to hear what the Lord is saying to us in our time through His Living Word (written or otherwise prophesied) As a young woman I met Corrie Ten Boom who had spent 6 months of her life in a concentration camp for hiding Jews and refusing to bow her knee to Nazi forces of Evil. By the time I'd met her she'd just finished being part of a film made by the Billy Graham Association about her life and the death of her father, sister and the rest of her family who hadn't survived the death camps. I was very young and a new believer when I met her when she came to the production studio where I'd been working as a production's assistant on the set where she was interviewed as a guest. I wasn't really impressed by many who came through as "tv evangelists" or Christian performers seeking fame and fortune for themselves. When I met Corrie I realized "she's the real deal" so my standard for "prophets" and "preachers" was set right about then. I went to ask for her to pray with me because I could see JESUS so clearly through the filter of her humanity. I wanted to know Jesus like she knew Jesus while in my body not wait until I get to Heaven to meet Him there. As I knelt beside her (while she sat in a chair as a weak, frail elderly woman) she started to pray and then quite suddenly she stopped. She looked straight into my eyes and said "If you live to be an old woman like I am you will SEE JESUS RETURN" She went on to explain to me that as of then all the prophecy hadn't yet been fulfilled. She knew He would not come in her own time but she told me our generation, whoever was born after Israel had become a nation, would not pass away until the Lord returns. At that time I was very young and had never heard anything like that but I sensed in my spirit she knew and it wasn't just what she'd heard anyone else teach. She understood what she knew. That's real WISDOM.

Welcome sarah777, how neat that you met Corrie Tenboom. I was a young teen when I came to Christ as a result of teaching on end times. I have always believed that I would live to witness and be part of the rapture. Looking forward to reading what else the Lord is doing in your life.
May the Lord shower you with many blessings sister in Christ

sarah777 -- welcome!
wow-- what a story -- did she phrase it just as you stated?
"If you live to be an old woman like I am you will SEE JESUS RETURN"
If so -- notice the "condition" if it were (ie. if you continue to live {or not die young})
not MAY see -- BUT WILL SEE Jesus Return!!!!!

Welcome, Sarah777! I believe I met you in the shoutbox. You're doing great, and that is a wonderful account of your meeting Corrie Ten Boom. Everything I've heard from everyone who ever met her is consistent with what you described about her. I don't think it will be long, and you'll be seeing her again.
