I was reading the articles that mike posted on the triple Helix research at the beginning of this thread and I couldn't help but do a facepalm when I came to this paragraph: "Inside a squishy organic creature isn't a great place for chemicals that don't like water, and any PNA in a living organism is rapidly excreted - but not too rapidly for it to have effects. PNA has already been used to cure muscular dystrophy in lab animals, meaning that even without a chemical raincoat (which scientists are already working on) it's a powerful tool for controlling the very code of creation." I figure most scientist are honestly (though blindly, or rather with a veiled mind) trying to better humanity, but when I see things like this, I want to shake them and scream, "DON'T YOU THINK THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS?" and "wait, what? You want to control the CODE OF CREATION? That implies you believe in a Creator!!!, and now you're saying you know better than the Creator that you can CONTROL THE CODE?" AUUUUGGHHH!!! |

This was released back in 2014. All I can say is apostasy, deception, and a lie that can easily deceive those who do not study the word of God.
I'm sure many have seen it, but I think that a visible "tattoo" mark using technology to alter DNA (the 80% that scientist like to call "junk DNA") which I believe could break our connection all the way back to Adam. When we are raptured, we are transformed, metamorphosis, as described in 1 Corinthians 15:52-53. There is so much to our DNA than we realize. Steven Ben-Nun on Israeli News Live has done many studies on this. Should check out his YouTube channel if you haven't.

I think someone said in another thread that God does not mark, He seals.
So when I see 'mark of God' the first thing that pops into my head is to replace 'God' with 'the beast'
The 'commentary' in the video is legalistic. "Do not sin anymore"? Not possible at the moment. Not possible during the Trib either. And the Bible says 'sealed' not 'marked' for believers.

I have mixed feelings about this….
Here is the deal, as a general rule all people have degrading DNA in today’s society. As the DNA fails, some diseases crop up because of the failure….
This simply fact clearly destroys the evolution theory, because these failures are not making people healthier – they are making them sicker….
I am probably closest to being an expert on this subject as a non-medical technician can be.
You see back in the 2011 / 2012 timeframe I discovered I had leukemia (a rare form called Chronic eosinophilic leukemia (CEL))…
Since that time -- I have been on Chemotherapy of a Type called “GENE THERAPY” -- in other words, it is not your typical Chemotherapy. As it was described to me – I take a drug which tricks my genes into believing (by turning some off a receptor) that enough eosinophils (a type of white blood cells) are already in the blood … as a result my body no longer produces as many eosinophils.
In my case they are not “correcting the DNA” – they are simply fooling the existing genes into believing there is already enough.
Unfortunately, I will remain on this therapy for the rest on my life – and with the costs and side effects, I am so ready to be off it.

It's one thing to use chemicals to fool our genetics, but from what I'm seeing from current scientist is comepletely reconstructing the DNA to achieve a purpose other than intended (I.e. kjs thank you for sharing your personal situation with us, I had not heard that before. I also appreciate that you give me some perspective on this, or at least a better understanding/more insight into developing technology like this and how it can be used for good. The rub here is that although many of these types of things start out with good intentions, it's likely the deceitfulness of the enemy, pride, lust (of money) and the like creep into men's hearts and lead them to do abominable things, as MikeTaft points to EDIT - you gotta typo "I am probably am..."
