As far as I can tell, it is dark now in Israel, so the "twinkling" is now over for 9/22 if we go by Jerusalem. I know by some reckonings 9/23 still counts as Feast of Trumpets (FOT), but I am none-the-less getting anxious now. If the rapture is FOT and FOT is over now in Israel, does that mean this is it? Wait until September 2018?
I know the sign hasn't really started yet, so maybe the "Great Sign" as John puts it overrides everything else. I certainly hope so and I think it is a very strong possibility.
It's all too much to figure out and I am tired of trying to figure it all out. I have been at this since 2011, and I have come to really hate watching the hours pass every year during Rosh Hashanah with nothing happening. My fear is that when it's all over this year will be no different. I am not saying it will, I am just telling everyone what I am feeling.
I did have the following thoughts as I left my office for lunch earlier. I am wondering if the Lord won't make us wait uncomfortably long for the rapture, like even to the 24th. I was thinking about the apostles on the day of the cross, how agonizing it must have been for them, having put all of their hopes in this man who was now being executed. Their agony was relatively short lived though since on the third day it was reversed.
I don't know what will happen, but I wonder if something like that might happen. What if our hopes for a FOT rapture or 9/23 rapture are dashed, but then we go up surprisingly quickly after that? I don't know if that's how it will unfold or not. I really don't know. I am getting anxious though, and tired of trying to figure it out, and ready to go home, and a bit fearful of the prospect of having to wait another year.

I am right there with you, when the sunset in Israel and we were still here, I was a little concerned. But we must remember to place our faith in the Lord and his perfect timing.

I don't think I'll be as sick as I thought. I'm good at one thing.
Calling people out when they step over the line. I did it for eight years as a profession. Not doing that anymore, but I believe God trained me for this moment.
The American church is a disgrace. No Christian should go to any public forum and slander his or her brothers and sisters for simply being wrong. The Bible tells us how to handle these situations. If you witness the sin, you tell them privately they need to repent. If they do not, you take a fellow witness and repeat. If not, then you cease having dealings with them.
Jesus rebuked the Pharisees. So did Paul. So did Stephen. We have a good many in our own day. Until the rapture, we are to stand. If we do not stand against the wolves in our midst, it is a shameful mark against us.
My name is Andrew Lowell Moubray. If you hear someone publicly mocking or scoffing, like from the pulpit, etc. and get me witnesses who are willing to come forward if needed (no cowards, please), a phone number, and a name, I will call and discuss the matter with them. I will ask for an equally public apology for their trespass against their brothers and sisters.
If you disagree with this, I urge you to study the matter...thoroughly...before joining the attack squads. I ask that you hold your tongue. I will list contact info in my profile. My home phone is publicly listed, but due to odd work hours, it is not a good way to reach me. My family members are not my answering service, or drafted into this combat. I can take a lot. I will not tolerate harassment or attacks against them.
All of you so inclined, please pray for me to act in the way God would like to address this situation. The rest of you, please stay out of it.

"If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector."
I know it is frustrating when scoffers scoff and mockers mock, but I just have to urge some caution with the idea of confrontation that you've described. It seems to me that the main idea of this Scripture is that witnesses should be the ones to speak to the brother or sister in question--people who are close to the brother or sister and have personally observed the sin.
Unless I've misread your post--and please forgive me if I have--it seems you would be doing this without actually being a witness yourself. I don't doubt you have good intentions, but I would urge caution, as it is all too easy to confront rather than turn the other cheek, and witnesses who might come forward to take up your offer may have their own agendas to stir up the soup.
