Yes, it's all happening so fast! I have a thought provoking question . Do you think that there will be a gap of time between the rapture and the peace deal ? I am one who believes that the seven year tribulation starts with the covenant from the antichrist and the many nations. Daniel 9:25-27. I believe that the rapture takes place before the tribulation ,but it does not start the tribulation. I guess that both events could happen at the same time. It is still possible ,in my opinion that the time line could be days, weeks or even years between the rapture and the tribulation. Now with everything speeding up, it almost seems like both events could be very close together. Thoughts?

I've heard some good arguments both ways, findtruth! Some of the best arguments in favor of no gap are in Scott Clark's video that is posted here on the forum. I'll look to see in which thread it is, as I don't recall right off the top of my head. And some of the best arguments in favor of a gap were in a video I recently watched on Prophecy Watchers with Gary Stearman interviewing Bill Salus. I'll see if I can find a link to that particular video for you.

I've often wondered if the phrase "peace and safety" is said when the peace deal is signed. If it is right after that the terrors come, then it almost seems that peace deal is first, beginning of tribulation second, and maybe even rapture in between, or even, the cause of some or all of the angst, especially if it's true that the unrighteous shall actually see the Lord in the clouds at His appearance for the rapture.

I've seen both scottie's video and prophecy watchers with Bill S.I have respect for both of these men and as far as I can tell, they both agree also that the peace accord is what starts the tribulation. ' When they say peace and safety and then suddenly destruction as a women travail with child and they shall not escape ' 1 thess: 5:3. In my opinion, this scripture alludes to the fact of the start of the tribulation. Isn't it interesting that it mentions ' a women with child'? I think that the women in this passage stands for Isreal. What is the child? Could this be referring to rev 12 along with scriptures in Isaiah?

I've hat a "gut feeling" leaning towards this too - that the "peace and safety" being referred to is the mantra spoken by world leaders and the public after a worldwide "sigh" of relief following a peace accord in the Middle East. Then BAM! Church is out because God considers the accord to be "a covenant with death". The peace accord could also in some way fit in with the sign of the dragon and form an imminent danger to the Church. I'm open to a gap to though. I've seen persuasive arguments on both ends. |

Wow, if this happens.....!!!! Every president that has been since I was old enough to pay attention to politics has tried to broker THE peace deal, I will be astounded if it actually happens.
