To start us off, I am a member of Generation X. The forgotten generation, the awkward generation. We almost never get talked about, compared to Millennials, who get all the fame these days. Another name for the Millennials is Generation Y, as in "Why?" What I find fascinating is Generation Z. There was some uncertainty whether this generation would be called Z or not. There is also uncertainty as to exactly when this generation began, but most people put it starting somewhere between 1997 and 2000. Assuming the Rapture occurrs this year, I find it incredible that the generations come out pretty much even at the end-- There will be no babies born into the post-Gen Z generation until after the Rapture. So did any of you catch that "Z" is the last letter of the alphabet? This also brings us to the questions surrounding what happens to babies and young children at the time of the Rapture. Maybe I will make that a separate topic under "Rapture." Proverbs 30 is labeled as a prophecy. It has this curious and chilling segment in it: Pro 30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. Pro 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. Pro 30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. Pro 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. Also, I thought I would provide the link to the Wikipedia article on Gen. Z. Looks to me like Gen Z is not the ruthless generation so much as Gen Y. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Z

I was born in June of nineteen sixty five and turned 16 years old in 1981, the days of Ronald Reagan, crusin' McHenry in Modesto California (American Graffiti) back when there was hope for a future and if somebody wanted a job they just put in an application and started that week. Now I feel so sorry for my kids who age between 19 and 26, it just isn't the same world. I can't remember how I found the Rev. 12 sign but when I did my research on it I found many others that had discovered it before me and now share their links around the interweb. As for my kids I have told them about the sign and though they looked at me like I had two heads at first they are watching the events shaking this planet and starting to see the signs. It was hard to tell them that they were possibly the last generation but it was wonderful to explain that they may never see death first or second death because they have all trusted the Lord for salvation. I pray for and share with generation z, y, x, and all others. The biggest gold nugget I have found through this journey has been the teachings of Dr. Michael Heiser who is a Hebrew and Greek scholar and more importantly a true Christian. If links will post here I will post some below. Michael Heiser Greek Michael Heiser What is the Gospel Heiser on Skywatch TV video 2 11 hours of Heiser Heiser Orion Palaides

Thank you, and welcome, gary777! My kids, all generation Z, are excited to see Jesus. It feels odd not to plan for their college, marriage, braces, careers, etc. But I am so thankful that all my kids down to age 5 give fruit of knowing the Lord. He has a future so much better for them! I was telling my 11-year-old recently, that every good and faithful thing she does as unto the Lord, will increase her reward in the coming Kingdom of Jesus. She was grateful for that, but she said she was sad for anybody who got saved now, because they would have so little time to serve God and earn rewards. I told her that they will be glad to be saved, and the Lord will still have good things for them, too.

Gary 777,
I was born in 64 and I have three children ranging from 27 to 31 and of both sexes. Whenever all this started for me back about age 37, I was pretty much alone in my walk in regard to family all the way around me. My kids have watched me learn, get excited , try to teach them everything I know, and it times to go back and tell them that I had it wrong. Although they have held my feet to the fire, questioning me about my changes, on one hand it made them doubt my credence but on the other hand they learned it was a growing process. By God's grace they began to check it out on their own whether I was right or wrong. It is been a rough road, I will admit at times when my kids have doubted my beliefs. It was very painful as they have trusted me on everything and when they doubted my beliefs because of my mistakes I was really hard on myself for being such a poor witness. But they are all strong believers now. Some have gotten married and some have had children knowing what may be right around the corner. My heart swells that they trust God with their life and their loved ones and their dreams and their hopes. I told them to always remember that this was the "fallen place", this is not as it was meant to be. I continue to remind them of that as they worry about what kind of world they will be raising their children in, but they pretty much have that settled in their hearts And they continue to go on as if it could come today or years from now, a very healthy attitude. God has shown each one, in their own way, that they do not want to be here for the tribulation. He has been kind to have a heart to heart with each one of them. I never knew that I would come to be able to say that I love God so much, from the depth of the bottom of my heart and all my being. He loves each one of us all so very much!

Any time you worry about how bad it is to raise children in this day, just remember you could be a Christian trying to raise children in North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, Somalia, or Iran today. There are people there who are doing exactly that. We tread a dangerous, tiring, and disturbing road, but God gives us everything we need to obey and serve Him.
