Friends, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic the mods have decided that as a community of Christian fellowship we should help one another as the Spirit of God leads. Some have already or may soon lose jobs and income; others may experience related health issues; still others may be struggling from the emotional and spiritual impact of all of this. There are some who do not have a local church home and some who do, but their local church does not offer streaming services or fellowship in light of the lockdown. We want everyone to stay connected and to be cared for.
1. If you have a genuine need for assistance there are brothers and sisters here who would like to help. If you have lost a job, have no supplementary income, and do not have a local fellowship that can help, please PM one of the mods, so that we can see what we as a community can do to help. If someone has genuine need, but desires to keep their situation private, please let us know and we'll handle it accordingly. How we handle this is a work in progress and may change over time. To ensure we are being good stewards with this community, this kind of assistance will only apply to members who have been with us before the date of this thread (4/25/2020).
Mods you can reach out to: Gary , mike , Natalie , yardstick , barbiosheepgirl , kjs
2. As always, if you have a need for prayer, please, please make your need known in the Prayer Chain, so you're not fighting alone.
3. Natalie has started a Daily Prayer Thread and also a daily devo thread here.

...and may we consider to provoke one another to love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as [is] a custom of some, but exhorting, and so much the more as you see the Day coming near. - Hebrews 10:24–25 (LSV)
...and all those believing were at the same place, and had all things common, and they were selling the possessions and the goods, and were parting them to all, according as anyone had need. Also continuing daily with one accord in the temple, also breaking bread at every house, they were partaking of food in gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people, and the LORD was adding those being saved every day to the Assembly. - Acts 2:44–47
Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers. Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins; [be] hospitable to one another, without murmuring; each [one], according as he received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; - 1 Peter 4:7–10
