The Greek word -- pléróma: fullness, a filling up (further definitions) -- that which fills or with which a thing is filled: so very frequently in classical Greek from Herodotus down; especially of those things with which ships are filled, freight and merchandise, sailors, oarsmen, soldiers (cf. our 'complement')
To put it somewhat in today’s language – think of it like filling car tank with Gasoline. Today, I might say I got a tank of Gas or I stop at the station and purchased a tank of Gas, or I stopped and filled the tank with Gas. Anyone hearing me make these statements today, would understand I have a vehicle which has a tank for gasoline and I have filled that tank with gasoline.
So when we come to a passage like Romans 11:25 “…Stubbornness has come to part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith…”
We understand it to mean not just the grouping – Like the Body Of Christ – but the Type of what is being filled. In this case anyone outside of “Israel body”…. It does not mean anyone in the Israel body is automatically excluded – it means God has blinded or harden their heart (Body of Israel) until such a time as all those outside the Body of Israel has had time to come in.
Most have understood this to mean there is a MAXIMUM Count of Gentiles – and when that count has been reached – is when God’s focus goes back to Israel. No one (that I know of) has claimed what that maximum count is.
When Greg spoke of imminence VS Date Speculation -- he got into some of this
There is nothing saying the maximum count cannot will happen on a certain day – nor is there anything stating once the Max is hit …. The rapture occurs……..

Well to be clear, the Bible prophecies do indicate that additional gentiles will be saved during the Tribulation, and that there will be gentiles who enter the millennial kingdom. It's just that the emphasis switches from gentiles to Jews when the tribulation begins.
