I've been offline for probably a week or two, mainly with the holiday busyness at the end of the year. I've come down with Covid (probably omicron), so would request prayers for a speedy recovery. I'm actually doing pretty well, but it's still mentally taxing. My wife already had it and I think the kids did, as well, so luckily for us, we should be done with this whole thing soon.

May the Lord quicken your body & mind Gary One thing I have decided to do and not do regarding this plandemic... I am no longer living my life so it revolves around covid. I became sick the Monday after Christmas along with many many others in my area and the 17 of 18 people that were at my house Christmas Eve. I had a scratchy throat and felt fatigued. The fact of the matter is I was sick. I had a cold. I dont care what it is called, I felt crappy for a few days. It got me to thinking "What in the world did we ever do when we got sick before we became indoctrinated with this virus?" We stayed home and rested, told people we werent feeling well and didnt want to get anyone sick, we drank plenty of fluids, took some cold meds to relieve symptoms etc. At no point did I ever rush out for testing to see if I had this or that. In fact my doctors frequently told me "youve got a virus, let it run its course, no meds needed, take some OTC meds and you'll be fine". We didnt post to social media that we were in line for 3 hours to get a test to find out what we already know, we were just simply sick with a cold. We didnt try to figure out "where did I catch this from" tracking down every single contact to see who had a cough or sniffle 3 or 4 days earlier, as if it would change the fact that a virus was in our systems and we needed to rest. Im not discounting an infection or high fever. Call you doctor if you have higher fever or an obvious infection. But the obsession with "IS IT COVID!" really needs to go away. We continue to play along with the plan and we shouldnt. Folks if youre sick, youre sick. You dont need to run out to get test to tell you what you already know. REST in Christ Gary - please dont think is directed at you brother. I feel its something that needs to be said. For 2 years most people have been acting like this is leprosy or some form of necrosis and it simply is not. I am hearing it from non-believers as well. If we stop participating in the insanity we wont be complicit with it. I have had the opportunity to speak to a few people this past week who were also sick. They are feeling the same way, stop the madness of rushing out to find out if its covid or not. It doesnt matter, when you have a cold, you have a cold. Just Rest in Christ brothers and sisters

Thank you both!
"I am no longer living my life so it revolves around covid"
Yes, lol, I'm in total agreement. For a lot of people it's like a rough flu, but for most it's like a cold (or even less). For me it's been a standard flu, but shorter lived. Still sick, but recovering quickly.
I've been wondering of late if Omicron is a restraining Godsend because it is mild and giving people natural immunity. I've been reminded over and over again lately that no matter how crazy things get, the world just can't quite go over the cliff while the Church is still here.
TPTB may have created the initial pandemic through gain of function research and then intentional or unintentional release, but they could never control all the variants, and now one has sprung up that is not that big of a deal.

Adding my hopes that you get well soon.
I also hope the information I provided in the description I gave when I had covid will be helpful to you.

Thank you for the prayers! Feeling quite a bit better. Not 100%, but most of the way there.
