My eyes are old and not so good, but I can see the moon clearly tonight...no clouds. Its a little past a half moon now, but looks as though its being eclipsed on one end and there is a red ball of light on the the "eclipsed" edge (I would call this the bottom of the moon). So the moon has an odd shape, like a half moon with "a bite" out of the bottom and a red ball at the the bite. Tried taking a photo, but a cell phone is useless for this.
That's what I see. Can anyone explain this? Never seen anything like it. Anyone?

I know...weird, huh? What was that? Big snow coming, so it won't be clear tonight. "Watch the moon" is a word (given through others, not me) I keep hearing. YMMV.
