Hey guys,
I was reading left behind again and I got to the part where Bruce is showing Rayford the tape that pastor Billing made about the rapture and the tribulation. Do you think this is something we should do to send to our unsaved friends in the case we go missing or die? |

Huh! Cool idea! Left Behind gets it wrong in a lot of ways, but that seems like a good idea!

I'm in the process of writing a left behind letter. Still pondering where to leave it. I'm not good with videos and such, but I am thinking that adding some websites or youtube videos to watch might be something to include.

Barry Scarbrough has a cool idea: he bought a bunch of extra Bibles and on the inside of the front cover of each wrote a short note to the effect of:
The Church has been raptured
Read this and study it
Do not take any mark on your forehead or right hand
Listen to the two witnesses dressed in sackcloth in Jerusalem

I was honestly contemplating putting a rapture video or letter in my will just incase I die or go missing is that weird? I don't know what else would get to my atheist friends then that.

I'm in the process of writing a left behind letter. Still pondering where to leave it. I have pondered this for quite some time as well...I am considering at the very least scheduling a text message with some video links for September 24 or 25 (perhaps) explaining what just took place. I digress...I am hopeful we will go home for good Sept 23, but I do not know for sure, as no one here does either. I often teeter with thoughts of "Holy Moses this is really going to happen!!!!!!!!!!!" and "well while i'd like it to happen (that day) it possibly wont" **scheduling texts can be done on the verizon texting app** |

idk if I would schedule it for a specific date because we don't know for sure when it will happen, so that's why im thinking like upon my dissapreance or something

One thing to keep in mind is that the internet could be hacked, shut down, blocked, censored, rationed, or destroyed--either in part or in whole--between now and when the people would need to read the messages. So I am in favor of both internet and hard-copy messages being left.

However, depending on the actual chaos that will ensure in those days, its possible the internet will be down etc. so i'm not sure it will work but would be worth the effort in addition to a written/typed note for others to find. |
