It really seems like something big is going to happen soon with North Korea. I keep thinking about all the Christians there that are being killed and tortured and in prison and also the situation blowing up with Japan and America. I think its all about to explode. One of their missiles just exploded to...news saying it might have been a cyber attack. I really think we should all pray for North Korea right now...pray for peace and protection of Christians and God to win a victory in that place.

I agree, willt86! I've been keeping an eye out on the news about the escalating situation with North Korea, and it seems to me that we're looking at a tragedy just waiting to happen in regards to the weapons and threats, as well as a tragedy already happening in regards to the persecution. I will pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in North Korea, in South Korea, in Japan, in the U.S.--in every place that might be in danger due to this situation.

Sorry for my late reply Will. Yes, we should definitely be praying for North Korea and its people that are under incredible oppression. I pray that country would become open to the Gospel in whatever way God wills before the rapture. I pray also for those trapped in its many massive labor camps - especially for the Christians already there.

Yes, and as the news headlines increasingly warn of the possibility of war, pray for our leaders to have wisdom as well as courage and for God's hand of protection on all who love Him or who will one day come to love Him. I've read several articles describing the North Korean leader's threats against the US, South Korea, Japan, China, and Australia. May the Lord protect all my brothers and sisters in Christ who live in the Pacific regions.

Just one note that I found fascinating: The boundaries of the Pacific Ocean is known as the "Ring of Fire" due to its earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. There is also a "ring of fire" connected with pregnancy, which is of interest to me right now as we consider the Revelation 12:1-2 sign with the woman in labor. When a woman is giving birth, a burning pain is felt as the baby's head crowns. This is the ring of fire. It is interesting to me that the Pacific region is our great hotspot in the news right now with the possibility of war with North Korea.

My wife has had seven babies, she knows! Most of the volcanoes and earthquakes going on today are in the ring of fire.

I heard someone tonight speak of what the total solar eclipse will look like on 21 August 2017. He described it as like a ring of fire. That reminded me of this connection to the Pacific "ring of fire" and the woman in labor.

Oh wow.
Interesting, when my youngest baby was born, my wife, for the first time, went without anesthesia for the birth. Though this was her 7th child, it was her first time to actually feel the ring of fire. She commented on it at the time.
As I mentioned before, this seventh baby is our most peaceful, pleasant one yet. But just like the 7th millenium is the most peaceful, it is preceeded by a violent painful labor. So it was for Baby T. She turns 2 in 9 days.
