Thought I'd share a short conversation I had from Sunday. Let me preface this by saying I was surprised to see how little truth people actually are aware of in our times. I was shocked to see how little people know about Christ and why or what they were "celebrating" on Sunday. God forgive me for thinking people want to know as I do, as some of here do! People just dont know! I suppose my background with a mom saved when I was young contributes to me having a basic understanding of who God is in general.
Onto my story...
Sunday I was out with my wifes family for Easter dinner. Her dad seemingly loves the Easter holiday as it is the only time I have ever seen him in a suit. He invites family, non-family whoever will join, can join. A generous man indeed. My father-in-law was at one head of the table, me the other with 4 people on either side totalling 10. At the early stages of our gathering my sister-in-law (sitting next her dad) said (down the table to me) "Dad was looking in the bible today, Does it say anything about aliens?" I chuckled a bit and thought "aliens no, demons yes..." but answered "no, but in Ezekiel some people think the vision he (Ezekiel) had of the cherubs and such was some type of alien encounter."
He promptly said (down the table to me) "NO! so and so (an acquaintance of his) said that in the book of Kings someone was taken in a beam of light = Aliens". To which I answered "sounds like you're taking about Elijah in the fiery chariot, he was taken to heaven, but no aliens". He insisted on the version his friend said so I calmly said "Jim i've read the bible more times than you've thought about reading it. If that story is in there, I am not aware of it, find out where it is and let me know".
PART 2 Later that evening on the ride home from the days festivities, my step-son (who is 15) said "do you believe in aliens mom? How about you Mike". This was prompted by the earlier discussion and so after a lengthy pause to allow my wife to answer, I chimed in with "no they really cant exist". From the back seat a slightly raised teen (Bobby Brady style) voice crackled "What!". I said "you sound surprised, why is that?" He said "the billions of stars and everything out in space you think that this is it?" I said "well yeah for 2 reasons, 1. God wouldve told us in the bible and I am not aware of it in there and 2. Jesus redeemed us, bought us back...He is Gods only Son. If God only has one son and he died to redeem us, what makes me think or believe that any other life on any other planet wouldnt mess up and violate Gods law the same way we did/do?"
Well I shouldnt expect a 15 year to understand this but I did. Although the time in the car was short it provided me with an opening to share about the law and how we fell quite short of being able to maintain that law, hence the need for One to be able to prove His righteousness". Unfortunately the car ride ended and subject changed as we exited the vehicle. This helped open my eyes to those who are right around us regularly and not aware of the truth, yet blinded by the lies the world system perpetuates daily. Brainwashed by lies!!

This is a problem I encounter often Mike. Thank you for posting your story.
Whether it be my own extended family or church family, I see deception and a “blindness” in many born again Christians on the alien issue. Although it’s not a salvation issue, I do belive the alien agenda is a demonic spirit and satan is working overtime to get the general public ready for a mass deception and a massive falling away using aliens.
Churches are not doing an adequate job on this topic either. It’s taboo to discuss or bring up the subject in most circles. I fear that many newer or baby Christians will be caught up in this and not rooted deep enough to understand the deception. They will believe what the TV and world is telling them to believe.
Alien or demonic “abduction” is a very real and present danger in this world. And I don’t use the term abduction to describe going up in space on a spaceship and little green men perform experiments on you. What the majority of people that describe being abducted is actually possession or interactions with demons. It’s not a new phenomenon by any means, it just goes by the the new age term of abduction.
What media stories typically don’t tell you either is that the overwhelming majority of people that report being abducted or have had encounters with aliens have also dabbled or been involved with the occult in some form or fashion. I know that I am painting with a very broad stroke by using the term occult, but I belive that most of these people have knowingly or unknowingly opened up a portal into their lives to allow those demons/aliens to come in.

mike Thanks for sharing your story. My kids and husband love space movies so much that I fear I am not getting what I believe across to my kids. I have a two hour car trip later today sans husband that I will definitely use for some conversation with the two of them.

Thanks for the input @soup2345 & sawdy ...we are barraged as are our youth with this deceitful theme. Every video game, tv show or movie has either extreme violence or aliens or both. I really think the concept of One Savior for all mankind is a simple way to explain it. If God is not a liar, then He only has one Son who came an died for sins. If we are to believe that other (alien) species are out there then they would have to be infallible or else they too would need a savior resulting in God not telling us the truth about having multiple sons. If they were infallible then they are gods. We know what God says about other gods and how He is a jealous God!

Great post, mike. I hadn't thought of looking at it like that, the 'other civilizations' needing a savior, too, I mean. A little background on myself, I grew up in a large catholic family on a farm in western Kansas. All nine of us kids got degrees in college/uni(back when higher ed. was less expensive). Suffice it to say, family conversations can be interesting. Good senses of humor, lots of family love. I was definitely blessed growing up. But even after all that, I have one brother and my one sister that I(we=my wife and I) can talk to in the same manner as things are talked about here at Unsealed. The rest? I just don't know. I told my brother about the Rev. 12 sign AT A FAMILY GATHERING. Other family members overheard the conversation, saw us looking at the constellations that evening(it was last summer, so the stars were getting close to alignment)and yet there was but mild interest. My oldest daughter even made a crack about the planetary alignment in the animated Disney movie "Hercules", where the Titans get released from their prison. I was thinking 'NOOO that is a counterfeit to throw people off!!" So, I know what you mean, mike, and you can't make people understand either! I was a big sci-fi fan growing up as well. Still remember the first time I saw Star Wars at the dinky theater in a neighboring town. I was blown away. I've read lots of sci-fi and fantasy books also. I daydreamed about colonizing other star systems and traveling through space, etc. Having done all that I still knew it was all just stories. I don't remember when I learned the verses, but Romans 8:18-22, especially verse 21 has stuck with me throughout my life. Every time NASA made 'new discoveries' about the other planets and whatnot, and they still only found desolated and chaotic planets, I would remember, "because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God." v.21. I knew in my mind that the rest of the universe is for us. It is waiting for us. Waiting for the revealing of the Children of God. And being the sci-fi nut that I am, it gives me the greatest thrill to know that the revealing is almost here. That I, God willing, will live to see it happen. I remind our Heavenly Father in prayer that ALL my hope is set on Him and His deliverance of all His Children. I know there are those that subscribe to the version laid out in the Book of Enoch about the shape of the Earth. If it's true, then our Heavenly Father will have to explain it to me when the time comes because I just haven't been able to wrap my head around it. I'm not worried about it and He hasn't pressed the issue with me, so for now, it's "whatever". Also, here where I grew up, we have boundless view of the sky, day and night, from horizon to horizon. It's perfectly flat and the only trees are at farmsteads. I live on my Grandpa's farm and my nearest neighbor is my Dad, four miles away. I have NEVER, in 55 years, seen a light in the night sky or an object in the daytime sky that couldn't be explained. If there were aliens flying around, they weren't flying around here. It wasn't until the recent past when I watched videos explaining the correlation of "aliens" being actual demons posing as aliens. It made perfect sense to me and I haven't thought otherwise since. It was like a "well, duh." moment. Having that background of reading sci-fi novels made it easy to understand how demons could trick people into seeing, or rather think they are seeing, ufos and alien beings. I remember one watchman stating that 'have you ever noticed that the people that get abducted are never true Christians?' and it struck me as to why 'they' made the movie "Signs" with Mel Gibson, and his character being a pastor. It was just to throw people off, to make people think it happens to anybody and not notice that true Christians don't fall for that stuff. Anyway, that's my .02 cents plus on the matter. Just some thoughts that your post brought to mind, Mike. I've really wanted to get the t-shirt that says: "I can explain it to you, but I can't make you understand it." It is so applicable when it comes to talking about the bible with people.

Let me first start by saying I believe the fallen angels/demons are leading a mass deception to prepare for the aftermath of the rapture. Heck even the new superhero movies are about aliens invading earth. That being said who is to say our Infinitely Powerful Creator didn't create more life out there that He didn't tell us about. I have always thought of The Bible as God's love letter/instruction book to us. Why would He include some other of His creations that are really irrelevant to us at this point in time? Jesus having to die for some alien's sins are a conundrum though. What if we are the most sentient beings in the universe? Not counting Yahweh and His angels obviously. For example what if God created some weird dog looking creature on Saturn, that would technically be an alien creature, but if it was like an earth dog; it would still be waiting on creation to be renewed.

Joecool i concur with you on fallen angels/demons being the source of the alien deception(s). I suppose I have "bought the lie" that if there were aliens they would certainly have to be more sophisticated and of higher intelligence than we are and of course have a spiritual core, posses souls and live in bodies. If those extra terrestrials were like amoebas or something then its very possible they wouldnt require the same redemption as we do. However back to point one is God wouldve (in all likelihood) had given some insight in the creation account of life elsewhere.

Joecool , the fact that the creation is "in bondage to decay" Rom. 8:21, tells me that our Heavenly Father would not place any creatures anywhere that was decaying until we, as His Children, are revealed. What a torturous existence. Plus, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. " Gen. 1:26-27 We are created in the image of God. We are sentient like Him. A dog is not sentient as we are and the dog was created after it's own kind, v.24(it would actually be the wolf and coyote and dingo, etc, not the domesticated dog) And I also agree with Mike on this, I think our Heavenly Father would have told us. 'hey, btw, I put some dog creatures on Saturn, you really need to get you act together and go there, as that planet is in decay until all is fulfilled...' Not only Saturn, but all creation. Also, I agree with you that satan and his minions are bent on deceiving the whole world. The pope claiming there is no hell,(if that is truly what he said) is another deception that sounds a lot like "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:" Gen 3:4. There are a whole lot of catholics that might possibly think, "huh, that sounds funny... Oh well, the pope said it so it has to be true!" Have you ever talked to a loyal catholic? sheesh, it's unnerving to say the least. My dad was the grand poobah(or what ever they are called) of the local Knights of Columbus and three of my brothers are knights as well. That loyalty is taken seriously. edit: I want to add that even though my family members are loyal to the catholic church, they still believe in Jesus Christ and believe that He died and was raised again, so I'm of the mind that our Heavenly Father has not let them fall by the wayside and I converse with them as with brethren, but with blinders on. I pray that Jesus will remove those blinders soon, but that is up to Him.

stormyknight to one has a perfect understanding of God/scripture. Although your brothers may have blinders on in some areas clearly others they do not. And that other is the one that matters most. 😀😀

In the department I work in we celebrated 3 birthdays today (April 1, 2, 3) by having lunch together. During the end of the lunch someone said "what's the deal with UFOs, did you see that stuff on the news?" Now a woman I've known for nearly 10 yrs said "of course there's other life out there, what makes us think we are so special"
Wow! I replied "we were created special". Her eyes rolled and she turned the other direction so I said "but you have other opinions about that don't you?" Still looking away "yes I do"
Unfortunately it was at the end of lunch and the cake was coming out. Please pray for Jennifer and her eyes to be open to truth.

After seeing this "AD" on three different stations in the area -- I KNEW some "bigwig" was forcing this garbage out to the public.... Thanks to the article -- I know "which bigwig" is giving the directions...... That is why I enjoy watching Rachel Maddow -- she is a very honest journalist and ALWAYS gives both side of the story. She is also VERY Liberal.... when she goes from giving both sides of the story to telling you "and here is what it means" is when you need to put on your own thinking cap and determine -- is that indeed what it means ... but the nice thing is you were giving the facts from each side -- so you have something to judge on. Another thing I like about her, is when she is wrong, she will do half a show apologizing for her error.

since this thread is also about ignorance, I would like to copy/paste a comment that I read in another forum to put some illumination on just how much some people just do not know about our Creator and Savior. The comment was in response to a reference that the thread was in a 'Christian' thread, which itself was a sarcastic comment. The person's response was, "I've never understood that. Jesus didn't speak english, I don't think he understood modern cursing." When I read peoples' comments like this, my jaw hits the floor, but I know it shouldn't as 'Babylon' or the world at large, for a general reference, has been in a state of ignorance for a very long time and there are some that have not had any knowledge of our Creator. I pray for their enlightenment.
