I particularly like this statement made by Hillary "All passages of Scripture must be understood and interpreted in the light of the gospel." Our entire lives should be viewed through this lense as well.

"Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We believe He did this and receive eternal life. We do not believe and say a special prayer.* We do not believe and keep the laws of Moses. We do not believe and offer burnt offerings or sacrifices. We believe and live." The Everlasting Gospel: The Mystery of the Bread of Life By Hillary
This part, to me, says it all. It is the Gospel in a nutshell, or as it is written: "it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." 1 Cor. 1:21
From Strong's Exhaustive Concordance:
foolishness. From moros; silliness, i.e. Absurdity -- foolishness.
Could it not also be 'simple'? The Gospel is absurdly simple: 'Believe and live'.
I will definitely be sharing this article, Hillary. Thank you so much!
