I have followed Unsealed for sometime now which is generally good. Having been a student of prophecy for a long time I do think this site is missing the prophecies of certain prophets missing in your work. I have in particular those of David Wilkinson and John Paul Jackson particularly accurate and should be dealt with you in your posts.

Hey Norman, welcome brother and thank you for reading. I'm not familiar with John Paul Jackson. David Wilkerson, however, I know his prophecies have been widely disseminated in the churches, but I don't give them weight for two very important reasons: 1. From what I've seen and heard, his preaching and ministry was not gospel-centric. This is a major red flag to me. 2. He had a number of documented "prophecies" that didn't come to pass. I discuss Wilkerson in particular here: www.unsealed.org/2017/03/who-will-be-raptured.htmlBlessings to you.

Hi Norman. What I find interesting is that the LDS (Mormons, although they are distancing themselves from that name), interpret "prophets" as their guys since 1830, and other groups call their particular guys "prophets" as well. Yet, as I recall, the Savior used "prophets" in reference to prophetic writers of the Old Testament; and he called his special witnesses "apostles," and not prophets. Even though John at Rev. 19:10 includes that he is numbered among those of the "testimony of Jesus" having the spirit of prophecy. Additionally, the angel tells him that he (the angel) is of the "brethren the prophets" (v. 22:9). With this claim the angel is saying that the servants referenced in the BoR to whom the message is sent are the prophets (v. 1:1), and that they have the spirit of prophecy. So, I guess what I am asking is to what claim do you propose that Wilkinson and Jackson are prophets? Are you saying that they are of the brethren who have the testimony of Jesus that means to live till Christ comes? Or, are you claiming that these two men are prophets in their own right and not linked to the servants as stipulated in the BoR? The reason that I mention this is that according to the literal application of the BoR there are 144,000 prophets at Christ's return. If that is the case then these two are two of many; and that being said then their prophecy must by definition be in sync with the other 144,000.
As far as I know, there are not at this time 144,000 prophets speaking the same message. Therefore, Wilkeinson and Jackson in all likelihood are not prophets of the 144,000. So, how are they prophets other than in the modern since and similar to the prophets of the LDS, FLDS, etc.; having their particular twist on prophecy.
Perhaps they are great teachers like so many others. But prophets; not until they are called as such by God. Like I said, there are not 144,000 with that claim so they are not of that group. Thus, at best they are teachers.
By what claim are they (Wildinson and Jackson) prophets?

Hi norman --- Glad you joined the discussion Board!
I really feel that we should be very leery of ANYONE -- who comes and "proclaims a word from the Lord" -- and that "Word" fails to come about.
In Matt 24:4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
The only thing we Christians can do today -- is to evaluate whether or not someone "says such and such will occur" -- is to wait and see if it does or does not occur .....
IF IT DOES NOT TAKE PLACE ----
Deuteronomy 18:22 -- " when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him."
Both of these men (who have already passed on) have had False (or untrue) prophecies) ....
John Paul Jackson referred to as a revelation from the Lord, he released a statement in 2008 called The Coming Perfect Storm. In this statement, he spoke of a time coming to America and the world in which economic, military, religious, political, and geophysical issues and events would occur in a relatively small period of time to make up a perfect storm of calamity. Jackson describes in detail the events that were revealed to him. "I saw the year 2010 was going to be very difficult, especially as you get further into 2010. I saw the year, I kept hearing an angel saying in a deep loud voice, 'The woes of 2012. The woes of 2012. The woes of 2012.' I don’t know what those woes are..... In a 2011 web video series called "The Perfect Storm Revisited", Jackson elaborated more on his original message......
Please Note -- we are over a decade (ten years) later -- and that "perfect storm" (which was implied at least by 2012) has still failed to arrive.......
IN a 12-19-94 Sermon David Wilkerson "Right now I sense in my spirit that in less that 5 years there will be no more so-called gospel television networks. They will all fall into bankruptcy and absolute ruin." (please note this was said in the early 1990's)
IN Wilkerson's Sept. 7, 1992 newsletter "1,000 Fires burning in NY, Race Riots, Federal Troops, Tanks in the streets, churches closed, by 1993": "I have had recurring visions of over 1,000 fires burning at one time here in New York city. I am convinced RACE RIOTS WILL SOON EXPLODE! New York City is right now a powder keg-ready to blow!...federal and State Welfare cutbacks will be the spark that ignites the fuse. NEXT YEAR, New York City could have over 100,000 angry men on the streets, enraged because they have been cut off from benefits....Federal troops will have to move in to restore order. New York City will have tanks running down its avenues....Churches will be closed for a season because it will be too dangerous to travel about. Fires will rage everywhere."
=========================================
I recommend caution when "following any man's prophecies .... but especially any prophecies from these two individuals.

Norm, I did not know that Jackson and Wilkerson had passed over until kjs mentioned it in his posting.
I am curious however as to what prophecies these men might have said. I mean, what is your original post about when you said: "I do think this site is missing the prophecies of certain prophets missing in your work. I have in particular those of David Wilkinson and John Paul Jackson particularly accurate and should be dealt with you in your posts. "
So, what are these particularly accurate prophecies of Jackson and Wilkinson?
The LDS prophets have a PR department to keep check on public opinion so as to not give offensive prophecies. I am always amazed that their prophecies are like: "If you keep the commandments and pay your tithing then you will have good health and not faint." Of course I am paraphrasing but the main prophecies contain something about paying your tithing. That church is a corporation that was organized in the late 1800s called the Corporation of the First Presidency and the leaders pull down millions each year. It is one of my favorite topics.
How about the soothsayers who have prophecies? The LDS are among this group.
"Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers" (Isa. 2:6).
Every once in a while the soothsayers get it right. However, that does not make them prophets of God; but deceivers.
Here is a great example of a humble teacher: JD Farag. He is not a prophet and he clearly states as much. However, if there was a prophet in our time it would be him. Yet, we have our prophets and they speak to us from the dust. They are in the grave and their words are in the Bible. We also have apostles. Therefore, as I see it, we have our prophets and apostles. So what further need do we have for more prophets and apostles? None. That which the Savior has given us is enough. Yet, I must say that I have my personal twist on the subject with respect to John the Beloved.

Welcome Norman.
My 2 cents:
I have only heard a few sermons by Dave Wilkerson. He was very vocal with regards to his perception of the collapse of America... back then we were only 3.6 Trillion in debt. I do think there is a difference between a prophecy teacher & an office of a prophet. A prophecy teacher is really the office of a teacher and not so much as a prophet. I am not saying that someone can't be a prophet & a teacher as Jesus filled both roles.
Ephesians 4:10-16 English Standard Version (ESV) He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
After reading this again these come to mind. The main thing the body lacks is unity and we often do not speak the truth in love.

Wilkerson for years adamantly preached a muddy gospel that mixed faith + works, which he softened later in his life.

This is interesting actually. I would need to research further into this and am not saying he is correct because all I am seeing is this quote that you have provided. I will look further into his message for more details.
“John Paul Jackson referred to as a revelation from the Lord, he released a statement in 2008 called The Coming Perfect Storm. 2008 was one of the worst years financially. The most foreclosures, job loss, poverty rising to record breaking levels aside from the Great Depression began in 2008. I worked in finances at that time through 2014 and let me tell you after 2008 things did not start getting better for several years. Many things have lined up in the years afterward that we are now seeing the result of today. Legalizing same sex marriage has brought on an explosion of transgender identity that is now being pushed on everyone more than ever. Bathrooms are changed to same sex, some drs are now no longer acknowledging make and female, in some countries of you accidentally acknowledge someone by the the sex opposite of what they decide to be that day, you can be fined or even jailed. The deep state during these years was also quickly growing and we see that exploding now that it is being exposed and uncovered for everyone to see.
In 2012 gas prices were the highest The worst economic drop in history occurred Foreclosures were at an all time high Car companies (Gm, Ford, Chrysler) were on the verge of closing their doors for good The mass movie theater shooting happened Obama’s was re-elected And much more that we are still seeing the result from even today. 2012 was a pretty crappy year for the entire world.
Again, I will look into his statements more, but there have been a very precise sequence of events militarily, religiously, politically, financially and on the civil level that we see crumbling apart today. He was not possibly 100 right, but he wasn’t really wrong either.

He was not possibly 100 right, but he wasn’t really wrong either. Perhaps that was the 7 year downturn followed by a 7 year upturn. 2008 + 7 = 2015 + 7 = 2022 I was in a meeting in about June of 2007 and they foretasted that the small downturn would be over by the spring of 2008. So technically the downturn began in 2007 and the end of it was perhaps 2014; just guessing. 2014 + 7 = 2021 We all receive revelation but that does not make us prophets. My argument is that Jackson is not a prophet because it is not given to him to prophesy. He can however share his personal revelations with others. For example: My mother died in January of 2010 and then a few years later on the 18th of June she visited with me in a visionary dream. I understood later that I had been taken to a family gathering of people whom had died wherein they were in celebration of my cousins successful life having obtained salvation. That is, I was with my aunts, uncles, and cousins whom had previously died and they were celebrating at my cousins funeral. It turns out that the 18th was the day of his funeral. I contacted my sister and she shared with me that he had died and his funeral was that day, the day/night that I had the visionary dream. In my conversations with these family members I learned that the next to pass over would be Freddy, an older brother to my uncle by marriage. Also, my mother told me that when she passed over she received something like an e-mail from the Savior telling her that she had salvation. I remember Danion Brinkley saying that when he died (for 28 min.) he was tormented by all the evil things he did and how those things affected people and how they felt. So I think the difference between heaven and hell is if we are free from guilt or plagued by it. Yet, I am not a prophet but simply sharing some revelations that I received; such is the case with Jackson in my opinion.

I have no need to "prove" John Paul Jackson was a false prophet or simply mistaken on what he "heard from God"....
But Let Us review a bit of history, to make sure we are all on the same page ........
March 2007, with the failure of Bear Stearns due to huge losses resulting from its involvement in having underwritten many of the investment vehicles directly linked to the subprime mortgage market, it became evident that the entire subprime lending market was in trouble. Homeowners were defaulting at high rates as all of the creative variations of subprime mortgages were resetting to higher payments while home prices declined. Homeowners were upside down - they owed more on their mortgages than their homes were worth - and could no longer just flip their way out of their homes if they couldn't make the new, higher payments. Instead, they lost their homes to foreclosure and often filed for bankruptcy in the process.
Despite this apparent mess, the financial markets continued higher into October of 2007, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) reaching a closing high of 14,164 on October 9, 2007. The turmoil eventually caught up, and by December 2007 the United States had fallen into a recession. By early July 2008, the Dow Jones Industrial Average would trade below 11,000 for the first time in over two years. That would not be the end of the decline.
On Sunday, September 7, 2008, with the financial markets down nearly 20% from the October 2007 peaks, the government announced its takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as a result of losses from heavy exposure to the collapsing subprime mortgage market. One week later, on September 14, major investment firm Lehman Brothers succumbed to its own overexposure to the subprime mortgage market and announced the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history at that time. The next day, markets plummeted, and the Dow closed down 499 points at 10,917.
Experts place the actual crash from end of September 2008 through October 2008; but as one can note from History – the actual start of the decline goes all the way back to December 2007.
SO pretty much the economy was tanking in the Late 2007 year. The USA was in a seemingly never ending war in both IRAQ and Afghanistan from the early 2000's.
Here is the definition of Perfect Storm by Mr. Jackson -- ""Perfect Storm - an event that is multiplied or intensified by the sum power, combination or synergy of events all happening at once or in near proximity. This event often results in unpredictable calamity."
Now Mr. Jackson made his statement (or revelation for the first time) in "Prophetic Bulletin" Jackson, John Paul (August 2008).
Part of the statement reads "The Storm will be made up of five elements: War, Politics, Economics, Religion and Geophysical Issues."
While you do a good job bring various "issues" over the 2008 -2012 time frame up -- NOT ONE combination brings everything (all five) up into a Perfect Storm.
Plus when you look at the "Timing" of the Crash -- the economy was already tanking back in 2007 --- hardly any "eye opening" that a Grade-School-er could not see coming.
NO, I think this gentlemen was simply trying to "ride the wave" of collapse -- that many had pointed out was coming.......

kjs " NO, I think this gentlemen was simply trying to "ride the wave" of collapse -- that many had pointed out was coming......." I think you are misunderstanding my thought process and perhaps I did not make myself very clear. My train of thought is unfortunately miles ahead of what I am writing or typing more often than not. I have to really slow myself down and backtrack to break down my train of thought into writing. I am not agreeing that he received a divine revelation or a future prediction, more like he did a good analysis of what was to come to a degree. Unfortunately the majority misuse and confuse the layered meaning of the word prophetic or prophecy. I believe Mr. Jackson is one who does this and then becomes fixated on that one singular meaning, which is foretelling future events. Like being a prophet makes someone a fortune teller... Prophecy does not just mean telling or revealing a future prediction or event. It also means to tell or reveal the truth, particularly the truth of God and only from God, not our own interpretations. >>Usage & definitions: 4394 prophēteía: prophecy, prophesying; the gift of communicating and enforcing revealed truth. προφητεία, προφητείας, ἡ (προφητεύω, which see), Hebrew נְבוּאָה, prophecy, i. e. discourse emanating from divine inspiration and declaring the purposes of God, whether by reproving and admonishing the wicked, or comforting the afflicted, or revealing things hidden; especially by foretelling future events.Do I believe there are people who have this God given ability today? Yes, but I do not think that about Mr. Jackson's statements. "20But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."

"People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.Did a bit of a google on Dave Wilkerson, not sure if i got the right Dave. I found a video that sounded spooky. He talked about a hospital in NYC that is all AIDS patients. And a section of it where they are all end stage and near death. But they're still in rebellion. They don't want to hear the Gospel. They hate, or blame, God for their predicament. "And they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give Him glory. And he made mention of Rock Hudson. How when he had little time remaining, just skin and bone, boarded a plane to San Francisco to satisfy his lust. Still burning in his lust, even though about to die. They did not repent of their deeds. Spooky video @ 6:47 start: David Wilkerson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia David Ray Wilkerson (May 19, 1931 – April 27, 2011[1]) was an American Christian evangelist, best known for his book The Cross and the Switchblade. He was the founder of the addiction recovery program Teen Challenge, and founding pastor of the non-denominational Times Square Church in New York City. Wilkerson's widely distributed sermons, such as "A Call to Anguish", are known for being direct and frank against apostasy and serious about making the commitment to obey Jesus' teachings. He emphasized such Christian beliefs as God's holiness and righteousness, God's love toward humans and especially Christian views of Jesus. Wilkerson tried to avoid categorizing Christians into distinct groups according to the denomination to which they belong. Wilkerson was killed in a head-on car crash in Texas on April 27, 2011.[1] He was 79. Wilkerson did not preach in the name of any specific denomination. Instead, he focused on biblical preaching with the aim of encouraging people to seek God through a personal and deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ[10] and the experience of the Holy Spirit. He said: "I am not preaching some denominational doctrine, This church does not belong to any denomination. We are not Assemblies of God, we are not Baptist, we're not Methodist, we're not Catholic. We're just Holy Ghost people believing this book [The Bible].[11]

From the shoutbox
exUnsealed: Check this site and scroll down a bit erikagrey.com/index.php/bibleprophecyteachers-best-worst
the link in the shoutbox gives us the below on Wilkinson, not Wilkerson - different people.
David Wilkinson
EUProphecynews.com
David Wilkinson has no special experience in the area of geopolitics or journalism and his website evidences his lack of expertise and only adds to the nonsence on the internet touted as end time Bible Prophecy news. Not only is his sight poorly structured and lacking information available on other sites, along with relevant correlations, but the facts he provides on the EU and Bible Prophecy are bare bones.
Wilkinson does get right that the EU is the revived Roman Empire and his facts in that area are right on until he starts to talk about the defunct Western European Union and former EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Secretary-General of NATO, Javier Solana as the Antichrist. Wilkinson is waiting for Solana to re emerge and while his site is fixated on Solana, he provides no good reason as to why he chose him. His site belongs in kooksville. I could barely read through the misconstrued facts on the defenct Western European Union and his utterly poor comparison of it being the ten nation division of the revived Roman Empire, which is ceased to exist at the launch of the Lisbon treaty of 2009, which was agreed to in 2007.
He and his website, which are rated bad is why this directory exists and he is the poster boy for someone who has an interest and a far fetched, wacky conviction and ideas who puts up a website and is now on the information highway for anyone searching to find.

David Wilkerson
We're just Holy Ghost people believing this book [The Bible].[11] When Pastor Dave was killed in 2011, i had no clue what was going on. I was NOT a Bible guy back then. The first i heard of Dave W. was from this thread, never heard of him before. And many of my ideas are not even fit to be mentioned in public. I KNOW that i have considered some radical ideas. One of those ideas is that the end is upon us, we are at the end of the age. And in my view the biggie sign is the "Days of Lot", which is the Abomination from Matthew 24. From this i can get a lock fit on the 1290 days. Remember this: "Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.
In Matthew 24 we read about this right after we SEE the Abomination, and then: "Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. But Luke takes these exact SAME instructions, and puts them in chapter 17, right after the mention of the "Days of Lot". Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. There's a reason why i'm mentioning this here. There's another thread here that's questioning about some churches not talking about the Gospel of Jesus, or mentioning Jesus. Here's another Dave Wilkerson video, where i count him mentioning Christ, Lord and or Jesus seven times in the first two minutes. In the first two minutes! I don't know what the date of the video is, but Pastor Dave died in 2011, so it was sometime prior to that. Like i say, in 2011, i had no clue what was going on. In the first 5 minutes, Dave Wilkerson talks about the gay marriage issue and how he believes it would soon become legal in America. He mentions how the people promoting it have become prideful and emboldened. He actually used the word "pride". "They seem to be boasting about it. "They are going to move into power. "And even into church denominations. Dave never made it to 2015 to see how right he would be. At about 38 minutes in, the people begin applauding. He stops them, and says all applause in this church goes to Heavenly Father, not to man. "We know better than that, it goes to our Heavenly Father. Just check out the first 5 minutes of this, and see what you think. "Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.David Wilkerson: The Private War of a Saint

davewatchman your ideas shouldn't be compared to Wilkerson. I didn't know the man other than a few videos and my mom saying to circa '99 "I'm going to Times Square church, wanna come?". She liked him so he had my ok. I am not going to say anything about him. However for me (personally) anyone who says "this saith the Lord" had better well deliver on it, else they are false prophet material. You are not wrong that we are very close to the end. Are we missing something? I have the same thoughts. Are my ideas like yours? Are yours not fit to share? If they don't come with "says the Lord" attached then they are not, in my book at least
