I was driving down the street today and passed the birthing center where my last baby was born. They have a sign out front (yeah, a sign!) and they always announce the first name of each baby as its born, and give the weight. I'm always curious to see what other people are naming their babies these days. My wife and I named all our children with Bible names. When I drove by today, I saw the name Isaiah, and it jumped out at me as a Bible reference! (contact info blacked out) Sorry for the small picture. The top baby is a boy named Sylor, at 7 lbs. 6 oz. The bottom baby is a boy named Isaiah, 7 lbs. 1 oz. When I saw that, I immediately took it as a verse reference: Isaiah 7:1. Remembering that today is 100 days even from the Great Sign the Lord is arranging in the heavens, I wondered if it was significant. Isa 7:1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. Now we know that wars are getting ready to take place. The question is, does this verse have any significance to our present day. I know this passage is historical fact that already happened in Isaiah's day. Question, though, is whether there is a message for our day. Or am I just too sensitive to little suggestive stimuli in my surroundings???

No Watchman, you are not being sensitive to suggestive stimuli.... Because you are in the All I Can Think About Is The Blessed Hope mode, these things are all around us! The fact that we are feverishly looking in the bible for answers tells me we are aware that something big this way comes!
