surprised this has not been shared more widely but thanks for posting. Like this phrase....."coincidence or fingerprints?" Hope everyone has a blessed week.

Hello folks! So, I will give dates... but I want to give the capabilities for the entire forum to do their own research. No plugins necessary. Here are the steps to uploading the Conception Comet, or Comet C/2017 E1 (Borisov). 1. Open Stellarium 2. Click F2 3. Click Plugins 4. Scroll down the list on the left. 5. Click on Solar System Editor 6. Click on the Solar System tab. 7. Select 'Import orbital elements in MPC format' 8. Click the 'Online Search' tab 9. Type in (without quotes), "C/2017 E1" 10. Click on the checkbox next to C/2017 E1, and click 'Add Objects'
Congrats, you have added the Conception Comet to Stellarium! To find it, click Ctrl + F, and type in (without quotes) "C/2017 E1". There you go!

You guys are much better at this stuff than I am. I can only see 'what ifs' or pieces of the puzzle and how they might fight together. I cant even get Stellarium to work properly on my comp.

Thank you so much for the directions to get the Comet on Stellarium, Beloved! I'm going to try it out tonight!

5. Click on Solar System Editor 6. Click on the Solar System tab. Hi, Beloved! I successfully completed Step 5, but I do not see a Solar System tab. Where would it be located? Is there a special symbol to identify it?

Thank you all for continuing this conversation...I'm not very familiar with Stellarium and have tried using it but it keeps crashing on my computer and I get frustrated. Thank God for the guy who made that video! I'm with you, bc23....I'm surprised this hasn't been shared more. I think this could help give so much credibility to those who try to debunk the uniqueness to this sign.

Thank you, Beloved! I had success this time, and I see on the screen that the comet is right at this moment in the morning sky to the south (from where I'm located).

I have been trying to use theskylive to track the comet; and have had some marginal success in finding some dates, but because the perspective is comet-centered, instead of earth-centered, I do not believe I am getting accurate data.
I have been trying to collect the dates where the comet retrogrades to its maximum movement in one direction before moving back the other way. I was hoping to locate which parts of the constellations Tauraus, Cetus and Orion the comet appears to 'stop' momentarily in before changing direction.
I believe the dates and durations may be significant, particularly if we can associate them with Hebrew holidays, and I believe they may be significant when the comet changes directions in certain parts of Orion (in particular). For instance, there are several times where the comet appears to 'freeze' above the 'lion' part of Orion, the left hand of Orion, the head of Orion and the right hand of Orion.
However, I cannot get a precise date and duration due to the perspective that theskylive uses.
Anyone want to give it a go?

Sorry, I'm leaving for a vacation; won't be able to access Stellarium for a week, if the LORD wills.

Just to Florida to visit my family down here. I've been in Florida all day; I've been posting on my smartphone.
