I don't wish to speak with eloquent words, as Paul would say. This is my first thread. I'm just going to say it, and hope God will minister it to all of our hearts individually:
If the Rapture is going to happen on 9/23, should we rather not do everything we can to shine our light with urgency and have nothing happen, than do little to nothing, and have it happen? Realize this - it is extremely humbling - once we are raptured, our service on this Earth as we know it is over. He comes with His reward to give to every person what he or she deserves. If we are betting on the Rapture happening soon, let's all give it all we got, let the Lord handle the backlash and just see what happens in the days ahead. We can NEVER go back in time once we are in heaven, and I feel there will be some regret/shame at His appearing (1 John 2:28) if we do not do what we are called to do.
The message to others does not HAVE to be, "The end is near." I get it - we can potentially turn people off (or have already, guilty) if that is all we say and nothing happens. Yes, it can hurt our testimony. Rather, what about "Jesus loves you, values you and wants to be a significant part of your life," or (to believers), "Hey, let's make sure we keep the main thing, the main thing and prioritize our lives. His return is near!" ?
EVEN IF we have hurt, offended people or hurt the cause, is God not faithful enough to understand our motivations and be the sovereign God that He is over it? Just because we may have lost someone and have been labeled conspiracy theorist because of what we said about the end times, does not mean God has lost them forever, nor does it mean God is upset with us. I think He enjoys our diligent work regardless, and it is up to His Spirit to refine our message to fit the person's ear anyway.
EVEN IF nothing happens, let God repair whatever was broken or lost. Don't be discouraged.
I strongly believe I've been given personal testimonies about what is to come, things I have never ever experienced before. I am praying about posting it, but I am taking the gamble that this is it, and doing whatever I can, because I do NOT want to look back and say, I wish I gave more to the Lord and obeyed His call.
Let's give it all we got, family, let God take care of the rest. There is a reason a CROWN of righteousness is specifically promised to those looking for His coming. He honors that. Let's not just look, but serve Him wholeheartedly, asking for His guidance in every interaction.
Isaiah 6 ---
God: Who shall I send?
Isaiah: Send me, Lord!
Are YOU going to be an Isaiah?
