Hey sorrynotsorry - haven't heard from you in awhile. You do realize that we can't make predictions about who will be here and who will not, right? I mean 8 people just died at an intersection in New York. I bet, they all thought they were going to be here on New Years. We are all gullible. It is just a matter of what we are gullible toward. (is that how to say that? gullible with?, gullible about? - I don't know, but you know what I mean.) We're all believing lies every day. Questions is, which lies am I believing? Which are you? haha yes I am the one with the problem, not the guy who thinks someone replaced our sun with a fake sun. Well it was really remarkable how they faked it so good even the plants were still able to photosynthesize. And also I agree some of us might be dead, but we will still be here if you get my drift. I'm not saying you have a problem. Just checked what I wrote and Sure enough, I did not say that. I am saying that we are all gullible about something. I happen to agree with you that it seems pretty out there to say the sun is fake. But that is why I asked for evidence. So perhaps grandpaskitzo is gullible about the fake sun issue. But I know I am gullible when it comes to trusting people who have already hurt me. I just keep trusting them again. If I found out right now that my wife had been cheating on me, I'd be like, "Wow! I was certainly gullible." I mean, I'd say that after all the anger and sadness and stuff. For many years I assumed the worst about Celestron telescopes due to a bad review I read. Then I had the opportunity to use one and realized how gullible I had been to believe that review. I may also be gullible about things I don't even know about. The reason I posted what I did is because I think the most gullible people tend to be the ones who stop asking questions. I think this applies to religion, science, and just ordinary everyday life. So when someone presents me with a statement, my first response might be to doubt it. But I still want to see the evidence. I want to know what convinced them to believe what they believe. Then, after I have asked my questions and gotten answers, I can make an informed decision based on whatever new evidence I may have gleaned. Do you believe that you might be gullible about anything?

I'll make a new post for this when I get all the links together. Great questions by the way. Those are the things we need to be able to answer for a better understanding of this topic. And yes, the 'sun' is whiter. Why lie about it? Cause the world wants to hide the truth, which would verify God's Word. Satan can't have that now can he. Haha Hello GPS , others.
Before the breaking news of the Terrorist attack in NYC, I also saw the news on the Front page of Fox, showing Scientists confirm the Mystery planet. So there is a huge mystery planet. I don't see anything that this planet's existence verifies regarding God's word, other than what we already know- God made them all - stars don't make planets, and the sun and moon and stars are for signs and seasons and days and years, and that Satan has no new material - nothing original - so he corrupted and twisted the constellations to make the Zodiac. From there, it's a ginormous jump /conjecture to say that this/ Planet X/ Nibiru was what made the Supernatural darkness at the Crucifixion, or any other darkness in scripture. Just think about the tens of thousands of people who now have Stellarium and Stary Night/ Stary sky, and any other astronomical software, as well as the professional astronomers/ scientists, and then combine this with social media and the whole instagram phenomena. If this were true, there would be droves/ scores,/ gagles of scientists coming forward to be part of the first to confirm or prove such a huge discovery.
Please hear me, brother -- I'm not mocking people who followed or studied or believed the Revelation 12 sign. I think it was a sign for something. With that in mind, the whole Planet X thing got a lot of traction, because of people making wild theories about Planet X making the darkness at the Crucifixion, and then making another ginormous leap speculating that there would be another super long eclipse during the Revelation sign, [in order for people to see the sign]. Could there be something in the natural world that makes an eclipse that is directly connected with the Rapture/ Harpazo, that scientists have not yet discovered? Absolutely. With that said, I personally think that the theory that there is a fake sun, is in the same category as Pyramid angles/other occult related things holding the key to Christ's return. I've been wrong countless times before. I continue to believe this year feels a lot like labor pains, on many levels. Maranatha. ;-)

Ya know - another interesting point about predicting that we will be here on any given day - Let's just say there is no God. Sooner or later, unless something is protecting the earth from galactic collision or self destruction. Unless something is keeping the Sun from burning out, that we won't be hit by a solar ejection that fries us all, etc.
Sooner or later, we will be gone - God or no God. So it seems that the predictive models indicate that that won't happen any time soon. So, we trust the statistics and the models that science gives us. We trust the fact that so far, everyday we have been here the next day.
It's a low risk statement. We'll be here on such and such a day. It takes no knowledge, courage, or strength to utter it. But someday, someone will say it - and they will be wrong.

It does take knowledge though, and come Jan 1st, you’ll see I had it. Meanwhile you try and nicely figure out whether the sun is real or not, without offending your fellow Christian.

if you actually read the article, you’d know it’s a planet that is orbiting another sun (another star) it’s not in our solar system. And it was discovered years ago. But ya, Planet X (insert eye roll)

sorrynotsorry , I'm just sparing with you because you seemed like someone who enjoyed that. But I don't get the sense that you are enjoying it now, so I'll back down. I also believe we will be here on the jan 1. But perhaps not in the same way you do. I am curious though - what "knowledge" do you have that guarantees we will be here Jan 1? Or do you mean, you assume we will?

sorrynotsorry we get you are a cynic, maybe even something else (non-believer, mocker, realist, aethist, etc.) But I ask you to keep the tone to an acceptable level. All comments directed your way have been kind, enough of the patronizing. EDIT - if you're wrong, I pray the Lord uses you mightily to lead countless people to Christ during the tribulation.

Oooohh this is a juicy thread... about space stuff Got a couple ideas/info about things being discussed here. Internet has been on and off for me over the last couple days and now seems to be working. Hopefully it stays long enough for me to finish this post. Sun simulator theory/idea: When I first saw this it really intrigued me. I was neutral in my opinion regarding this when watching videos and information regarding this or at least really tried to be without completely shutting it down without looking into it. I have a background in professional photography and have a good understanding of light and how to manipulate it and make it do what I want. The amount of energy it takes to run my strobe lighting is pretty insane. They are not continually on, just flashing and they get very very hot. The videos and information I have seen are not convincing, not a one. The amount of energy it would take to produce that much light continuously is absolutely unobtainable on this planet by humans, let alone heat being factored in for the planet. We can barely get rockets that are powerful enough to take people to the moon safely, but have the technology to light up the sky day in and day out and warm the earth? I also think (this is not directed at anyone in this thread, just at the idea itself) that giving humans credit to light up the sky ourselves takes away from God. He put the sun in our solar system and It is stated several times in the Bible, that it is there because well basically He said so. So in all reality do we really think humans would be able to replace the sun to light and warm the earth without Him maybe having a little bit of a problem with that? IMO these types of theories really take away from him and are a deception of Satan. Electric Universe- Now this is good to look into! It seems the last few years of science has been quite tumultuous. So many things that were pretty much presented as "fact" are just being flipped upside down and turned inside out and leaving many scientists scratching their heads even more. I believe scientists are starting to get in the right track with what they are discovering about electromagnetism and how much of everything is in relation to it. They are discovering that many super novas have branches of lighting coming out of them and that the arms of galaxies are electric. The recent probe that landed on the giant comet recently made some amazing discoveries with the photographs and samples it took. Comets are not balls of ice that light up when they get close to the sun because the ice starts to melt. Nope, it was discovered they emit their own light/energy from within. Scientists have no idea how this is possible. paulwatchmandawson put some really good information in his Revelation 12 thread in regards to the surface of mars and how it has literally been scorched by huge amounts of electricity. Possible core mass magnetically attracted to our solar system spontaneously? Yeah that is actually very plausible. We would not see it or detect it until it started affecting things around it. The sun has had a nova episode and recently according to the creationism research and theory (thanks again for that info everyone!) and Mercury/Venus is all evidence of that. Not a super nova, but a definite reaction to something getting too close to it. There is still continuous evidence of this because the sun shrinks more every year. This happens when a star has had a nova episode. Could also explain why the sun seemed more yellow years back. If this mass is on its way back, it could cause another nova and would explain a thing or two in the book of Revelation as well. I do not think it is a rogue planet. All these videos of sun glares and reflection orbs/circles in camera lenses make me roll my eyes as being Planet X in our sky. I can cause one big sun reflection creating a large orb in a photograph or many depending on what I make my camera/lens do. I can even make them into different shapes like hearts and diamonds when I use a filter to change the shape of the reflection from the light source. These orbs are just light bouncing around and refracting through layers of glass. A simple lens hood usually takes care of them if they are bothersome in photographs. I will go back and read through more when I get a little more time

Everything small seems to show the larger things, from the very smallest particles showing the cosmos, and vice versa, to being a reflection of the first, second, and third heavens above. The creation model God used is evident in all parts of life. It's quite fascinating when you start seeing it that way.

So on the subject of Jesus' crucifixion and astronomy, check out this article: www.unsealed.org/2017/02/the-gospel-in-stars.htmlSome of you may have already read it, but for those who haven't, there were some other big things going on up there in the stars.
