Was not exactly sure what category this thread belonged in, but since it involves witnessing to unbelieving co-workers, I chose "Salvation". If your workplace is anything like mine, you are surrounded by a vast majority of non-believers who, predictably, have absolutely no idea what time it is spiritually. And again, if you are anything like me, you have a desire to share the truth and warn them about what is coming, but are challenged about how to go about sharing the gospel with a sense of urgency.
In that context, I wanted to share a letter that I have been selectively distributing, as led by the Holy Spirit, to some of my co-workers. My motivation for sharing this with the Unsealed online community is that I am hopeful it might help someone move towards reaching out in response to that prompting you are experiencing in your heart. In order to be "politically correct" (more like wise as serpents, gentle as doves), I feel like the Lord led me in how to format the note. The full body of the note is in Message #2 below. That part is contained on one page and then folded over in thirds so that it is fully concealed on the inside. I then staple it, with a "cover" message that shows on the outside of the folded letter. (You may have to play with your printer a couple of times to figure out how to get it just right, but it is pretty simple.)
Message # 1 on the outside of the stapled, three-folded letter reads as follows:
Hello "ABC Company" Colleague:
The message contained on the inside of this note is not work-related and is not tied to our company in any official capacity. Quite to the contrary, it is an intensely personal letter. In the spirit of full disclosure and out of respect to you, I want you to know right up front that this is about my beliefs as a follower of Jesus Christ and, more specifically as a student of Bible prophecy, my desire to share a warning about some really horrific things that I sincerely believe could occur in the very near future.
If such a topic is offensive to you or simply of no interest, then I would ask you to please just throw this note away without even opening it. Also, please know that I have no intention of pursuing or forcing any further conversation with you about this topic unless you approach me. If you choose not to read this letter, I will take no offense and will continue to work side-by-side with you as a co-worker who is sincerely committed to making our company the best it can be. That said, if you do find that you have some interest in such things, then I hope you will carve out a few minutes in your schedule, outside of your work time, to read the note.
Sincerely, with respect, and in the love of Christ

By wording it this way, they have to intentionally and of their own will choose to read the letter. They are being treated with respect and no one is harassing them to be forced to hear something they do not want to hear. If they do remove the staple to read it, here is what they find in Message #2:
Hi There:
Well, since you’ve opened this up to read, I am going to assume you must have some level of interest in the message that the Lord has burdened my heart with, or I suppose at the very least are curious enough to check it out. In either case, I am grateful for your willingness to spend a few minutes giving it consideration. I do need to clarify at the start that everything in this note is based upon the Bible. If you reject the Bible as God’s Word and the ultimate yardstick for measuring truth, then you probably won’t find much credibility in my warning, though you are still certainly welcome to read on.
Back in the days of Noah, I think it is fair to infer from scripture that the people alive at that time probably thought he was a religious whacko. Here was this guy who claimed God told him to build a huge boat because the Lord was getting ready to flood the earth as judgment on the people for their wicked ways. Apparently nobody but Noah’s immediate family took him seriously…until it started to rain. Then, with unimaginable horror and inescapable consequences, the multitudes came to realize Noah had been telling the truth. Tragically, it was too late to do anything about it. When a friend is convinced there is danger coming, he would not be much of a friend or demonstrate much genuine concern for others if he remained silent about it. So, I write.
I believe we are quickly approaching a similar scenario of God’s judgment here on earth. This time, the judgment will not be in the form of a worldwide flood, but rather a seven-year period of what I would call a taste of “hell on earth”. This period of time is probably most commonly known as the “tribulation period”, although some Bible prophecy students might refer to it with other terms like Daniel’s 70th week, the Day of the Lord, or the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Whatever one may call it, it is described in horrific detail in chapters 6-19 in the Book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible. I would not wish it on my worst enemy, and I certainly don’t want family, friends, co-workers or acquaintances to find out that the Bible is true after it is too late to do anything about it. Thus, I feel compelled to at least try to warn folks of what is coming. And I believe with all my heart that it is coming.
So, let me cut to the chase and tell you, based upon the teachings of the Bible, what I see on the horizon:
1. The true Church of Jesus Christ (people who have genuinely believed with all of their heart that Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross) is going to be caught away (raptured) in the near future, taken from this earth to meet Christ in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) and then brought to the Heavenly Father’s house (John 14:1-3) while the tribulation period takes place on earth. Millions of genuine Christian believers will be instantaneously changed and gone (1 Corinthians 15:50-52).
2. Those people who have either flat out rejected Christ, have been indifferent to His offer of salvation, or have become what I would call CHRINOS (Christians in Name Only) will all be left behind on earth to endure the tribulation period of judgment.
3. At some point following the rapture (unclear to me if there is a gap of time), a seven-year peace treaty will be confirmed by some world political figure (Daniel 9:27), who will actually turn out to be the prophesied Antichrist. According to scripture, it is the confirmation of this treaty that will mark the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week (the 7-year period of judgment).
4. The incomprehensibly horrific judgment described in Revelation Chapters 6-19 , which is nothing short of the wrath of God Himself, begins to play out here on earth for the next seven years, before Jesus finally physically returns to our planet, defeats His enemies at Armageddon, and establishes His millennial Kingdom here on earth.
I know that to many, this will sound like a sci-fi, Star-Wars-like script. I can only tell you, according to the Bible, it is not. I am greatly challenged by trying to condense to one page what could literally fill a book, but here is just a sampling of some distinguishing reasons why I believe our generation is THE generation that will either be raptured or left behind to go through judgment on earth:
• Israel, after over 1900 years of being scattered throughout the world, is now back in the Jewish homeland, exactly as the Bible prophesied would happen in the last days. No other generation in almost 2,000 years has been alive to see this.
• There is technology today that will easily support the one-world, cashless, global economy spoken of in Revelation 13. Such technology has existed in no other generation, ever. The inability to buy or sell without a mark on one’s hand or forehead is now very easy to envision. RFID chips are already implanted subcutaneously. We are one international monetary crisis away.
• The precise geo-political alignment foretold in Ezekiel 38 of Russia, Iran, Turkey and some other northern African nations has materialized before our eyes over the past few years. These are the exact nations prophesied to attack Israel in the last days. Many of these never-before aligned nations are now in Syria “playing war” just north of Israel’s border along the Golan Heights in an area that has recently been identified as having huge quantities of natural gas that Russia is very interested in.
I could go on and on and on listing a multitude of other reasons I believe the rapture is soon. Signs in the heavens (the 8/21 total solar eclipse that splits the entire US, the 9/23 sign in the constellations depicting Revelation 12), plans for the 3rd Jewish Temple to be built in Israel (the Temple that must exist for the Antichrist to defile it at the midpoint of the tribulation period), and the push for a global government throughout much of the world today through the UN are just a few others. The key point is, there are lots and lots of reasons unique to our generation that lead me to believe we are close to the rapture and the subsequent 7 years of judgment.
So why am I taking time to share these things? Simple. When a man sees danger on the horizon, he tries to warn his friends. I don’t want anyone to be left behind to endure what is coming, especially someone who might otherwise have chosen Jesus had they been warned about what was ahead. Metaphorically speaking, I can only tell you the truth that storm clouds are clearly on the horizon and it is getting ready to “rain” again, perhaps very soon. No worldwide flood this time, but Revelation 6-19 instead. Jesus is the ark. He is the only safe place to escape the destruction of what is coming. You get on board by God’s grace (can’t do anything to earn it) through faith in Christ, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God the Father raised Him from the dead. In the days of Noah, people were eating, drinking, marrying and living a “normal” life right up to the day it started to rain. That’s how it will be with the rapture, and then sudden destruction comes and it will be too late. I hope and pray you will give this warning serious consideration. Thank you for taking time to read this. Sincerely and in the love of Jesus Christ,
Maybe this will give someone the encouragement they need to move forward or spark a creative idea for someone else. Feel free to use the approach or any of the content if that might help you to reach out to your co-workers. May the Lord be glorified.
