So If Jesus Christ is GODJESUS Why is there need for a third temple in Jerusalem >.AND THE BIBLE HAS SOME VERY harsh WORDs for the people that want to build this abomination and as bible prophecy goes it will be built!! but for all the wrong reasons.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. This is what GodJesus thinks about the third Temple that will be and the people that want to Build it!!

What is "it" that you are talking about? From what I see in your posting, there may be fractions of verses pasted together with no scriptural references. Are you expecting the reader to find the references? Isaiah 28 does not reference the temple as you have alluded to but the priest and the prophet in Ephraim that are drunkards. How do you connect "Judah" to a chapter in Isaiah that clearly states Ephraim to wit: 28:13, "But the word of the LORD was unto them (the drunkards of Ephraim from Verses 28:1-12) precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. 14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem (These are the drunkards of Ephraim in Jerusalem). 15 Because ye (the drunkards of Ephraim) have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge* shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. It is the east wind, the flood with great waves and a tempest all in one. |

Personally I think it is a good link; however, in my opinion the link relies on the following metaphorical applications: Isa. 28:16, "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD (Jesus) , Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone (Davidic King), a tried stone (Davidic King), a precious corner stone (Davidic King), a sure foundation (Davidic King): he that believeth (in Lord Jesus) shall not make haste." As you may recall, Isaiah Chapter 28 begins with the drunkards of Ephraim that can not learn. However, those that can learn will have this sure stone as their foundation. It is my opinion that this sure stone is the Davidic King. Now, linking that foundation stone to the temple we go to Revelation 11:1 to see that it is John the Beloved holding the reed of authority to wit: Rev. 11:1, "And there was given me a reed (of authority) like unto a rod (for striking the enemy and this is the 144,000): and the angel stood, saying, Rise (having been crowned the latter days Davidic King), and measure the temple of God (those whom have salvation in Christ), and the altar (the altar of salvation in Christ), and them that worship therein (those who follow Christ)." As you can see the temple has a metaphorical application meaning those who are with Christ under the leadership of John. This is my best guess as to what you were saying in your previous posting. Do you have a knowledge of the Davidic Kingship and the Davidic Covenant? |

Thanks rant for the clarification. From what I see in your posting you are leaning towards a literal interpretation of Isaiah Chapter 28. Although, the "stone," "foundation," etc. are metaphorically representative of someone, and you believe that individual to be Christ. Fair enough. Can you expand upon the covenant with death that is disannulled to wit: "And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it" (Isa. 28:18)? My take on that covenant is as follows: 1) To be annulled = that which happened never happened. To be dis-annulled = that which happened never happened but then happened. In other words, to be disannulled is to be reconfirmed. 2) Therefore, the covenant with death is reconfirmed to take place in the statement "Your covenant with death shall be disannulled." That is, your covenant with death is reconfirmed to be valid. 3) The subject of Isaiah Chapter 28 is the drunkards of Ephraim whom can not hear. In fact, the first part of the chapter goes over this point several times. Therefore, the "covenant with death" is their covenant because they can not hear. 4) The covenant with death is the agreement with hell that when the overflowing scourge comes, it will pass them by. However, as previously explained, the covenant is reconfirmed that when the overflowing scourge comes then they (Ephraim that can not hear) will be trodden down by the scourge. Are you suggesting that the covenant with death from Isaiah Chapter 28 is the covenant that is confirmed for one week? Because, Isaiah Chapter 28 is about Ephraim that can not hear and you keep referencing Judah. These are two different covenants to wit: the covenant with death is with Ephraim while the covenant that is confirmed for one week is with Judah (Dan. 9:27). Why do you keep interjecting Judah into Isaiah Chapter 28 when we are repeatedly told that the chapter is about Ephraim? |

^^^^^^^This in prophesying the above statement that was made from Jesus to the Jews. Why is this referring to line upon line? Because that is all the Jews cared about, their knowledge and understanding of scriptures above everyone else. We see however that this is their doom at the end of verse 13. Sure they knew the WORDS, but they were not letting God lead them in understanding. They relied on themselves, their works, and on the law more than the Lord.
13And the word of the LORD will be to them

^^^^^^Over and over again in the NT, the Law is called the covenant with death. That is what this is referring to that no one can complete and fulfill the law. That was its purpose, to prove this. Since the law has to be perfectly fulfilled for complete atonement of sin, and no one can do that, it is a covenant of death. The only one who could do this was Jesus. Sheol is the grave. It was a covenant that lead to death and being placed in Sheol (grave).
when the overwhelming whip passes through
it will not come to us,
for we have made lies our refuge,
and in falsehood we have taken shelter”;
<<<<<This is talking about the Jews (or possibly anyone who believes in their own works above salvation by God) being stubborn and continuing to follow the law and their pride in themselves and thinking they will not be harmed because they knew Gods special law and how to follow it. They placed themselves above everyone else. They believed in themselves more than anything. The scourge or overwhelming whip as translated in the ESV is talking about Rome and when Rome finally destroys them and the temple.

Well, I study but I am human. If I err, I hope the HS can lead me to understanding. But prophecy doesn’t save, so I’m not worried. I also don’t use prophecy to witness to others, so I am not tainting the gospel nor am I teaching things that could be wrong to unsaved. Your text is quite cryptic and difficult to read. I don’t believe the scourge is MB. MB is a city, the scourge is man. The scourge destroy MB...so how could they be the same? Your suggestion that the Church kills its own people and is responsible for their death is confusing. Not only that but if the church is at fault, then a man is blameless.
