Agreed. Perhaps God will make a third covenant with men during this time.

Respectfully, the Bible does not tell us of any other covenants. I think that is something we will have to be careful of.... The last we hear of covenant is not a good one.

We're( my son and I)kind of thinking this whole thing is starting to look like the twin births of Tamar...The red thread hand that came out may have been God's offer to the Jewish nation up until the stoning of Stephen. When it was not accepted, the hand was withdrawn back, for another time of delivery. The designated firstborn's hand came out, was withdrawn, the Gentile nation of believers will be delivered, and then....the nation of Israel, T first born will be "fully" delivered.

The story is in Genesis 38:25-30 - I'm trying to figure out what "This breach be upon you!" means....

I find it interesting that Revelation 12 is about a birth and in Mathew 24 Jesus describes the birth pains. It doesn't sound like a coincidence maybe he was saying these things will happen in order to fulfill the birth? Maybe it will mark the completion of the seals?

Thanks for posting, Whatif! I watched it last night and loved his comments on the conception and birth. He's right about incorruptible seed. We all start as unfertilized eggs and need the Father's seed in order to survive.

What a great insight!

There is only one prophet in the world today and that is the church and we have only one message and that's the Gospel of God that Paul Preached. If people do not believe our message of salvation which is still in the future which makes it a prophetic message and can only be believed by faith. So by definition, we are all prophets but we only relay the written message. No "thus says the Lord" anymore, if you do not speak Gods written word I will ignore you. Ken

Thanks for the welcome Whatif. I was reading Romans today and I had an interesting thought inspired by Romans 16-20 and as I have not heard any mention of this scripture in the commentary on the revelation 12 sign I was thinking that it may have some bearing on the identity of one of the characters in this heavenly drama. "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." It's obvious that Paul is speaking about a future bruising and that he is speaking to the body of Christ. The language reminds me of Genesis 3-15 But not sure what, if any relevance it may have on the narrative. Penny for your thoughts.Ken

An interesting question, Ken the Aussie Believer! I'm so glad you've pointed this out, as I've not noticed this particular aspect of the verse before despite reading the book of Romans frequently. The verse is indeed interesting, as it says "under your feet," indicating the Church. My speculation is it might just have to do with the rapture of the Church and the war in heaven that will take place in which Satan is thrown down to Earth. As we go up to the throne room of God, Satan is being bruised beneath us in the heavenly war.
