The LSV Bible is freely available in various formats. You can use the links below to download it for free. Other formats are available here, including paperback, large print, hardcover, and reader's edition. You can also read the LSV online through The LSV Bible Reader. We are also working with BibleGateway and YouVersion to make it available on those platforms. Some of the bigger platforms where it is already available include these:

Gary, I'm really looking forward to having LSV available on Biblegateway. However... we were on church camp a few weeks ago, in an area with very unreliable mobile phone coverage, so I couldn't access my usual Biblegateway app, and I was VERY grateful to have a downloaded copy of LSV on my phone. I used it the whole weekend. Our church generally uses ESV and it was very interesting comparing the two versions. Next time - ha!!!! - I'll remember to take a hardcopy🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully, next time, will be a very different experience of church camp, that will involve an eternity of worship...

I think so! Very soon actually, I think. I believe YouVersion has a local download option.

Yes, I'm a huge fan. I use the parallel, commentary, and interlinear all the time!

Gary, congratulations on the success of the LSV....I believe it's excellent! As I have pointed out to Nelson Walters, it's one of the very few that translates Agag as Gog.....glad it's on Bible Hub, I go there daily!

Thank you brother! We did our best to incorporate the oldest manuscript evidence. The OT is the Masoretic Text, but there are instances where the evidence led toward the Septuagint and/or Dead Sea Scrolls.

Thank you Gary, Are there still plans to add the LSV to Biblegateway? I’m currently reading the LSV Bible on the eBible site, which is excellent as I can read it side-by-side with a more meaning-based translation. However, the Biblegateway has more translations to compare to. Additionally, it includes at least one version of the Apocrypha (NRSV). When I come to read the LSV translation of the Apocrypha, I would like to read it side-by-side somewhere if that will be possible? Thank you

Gary, mc, ksteven, mike, samb, Glad that it's on Biblehub. It's one of the best Bible study tools anywhere. Kudo's, @gary and the team ("Bravo/well done/Great job") for the fact that in Matthew 28:1 it correctly says "After the Sabbaths" plural - which is clear in the original but sadly, it's mistranslated in most versions, and this in turn, has caused all kinds of other controversies. I'm looking forward to using it more and getting more acquainted with it.

D4L I didnt notice it as a selection in the drop down. for example if you pick "bible" at the top right you'll see all the versions followed by the commentaries. How I saw it was I searched for a verse and it was listed as an option. If I missed it as a selection, please help me find it.

Yes, my friend- It was the same thing for me. It's not listed in the horizontal bar that runs across the the top of the page that has all the other translations. I literally found it by accident. I put in a verse in the reference search bar and found it in the "parallel" search feature which lists all the different translations but you have to keep scrolling down. I think someone should let them know that it is not visible - [not listed with all the other translations]. Hope that makes sense.
