I have not yet read the other two, but I really enjoyed the first one, which was given to me.

I'll have to go get that for my Kindle (hopefully, if available). Leaving for the beach August 19 and that will make for good beach reading! Thank you! Edit: I just got it. Even better it was free for Kindle ($12.99 for the paperback). Just started book two of this series yesterday -- book one was ok (but a bit slow to me) bought all three books together -- so will be competing the series at some point..... I'm about 30% through book one. It's good so far and I'd probably already be finished it if not for the fact that lately I almost feel guilty, maybe guilty is not the word. I don't know, just I feel like there is not enough time left for me to prepare... both myself... and other's (mainly my family I worry about). It is hard to explain but I'm sure everyone here knows what I mean. I know it is not wrong for me to have "entertainment". I even dread leaving for work everyday (and I LOVE my job; am a nanny to a little boy, family from India; he is not 2 years old and I have been with them since he was born and love them like they are my own family; the little boy, love him like he is my own). It's all because I feel like there is so much I must do... read and study my Bible, come here to this forum to read and to share, pray on how to be a good witness to my family and those I love, actually trying and doing that, feeling me myself I must prepare more by reading God's Word and I must become closer to Him and every time I open and read truly it is like He "tells me" or "reveals" something new to me and is so beyond amazing! Have to work, have to do the mundane day to day things, have to prepare to leave this Saturday as we are going to the beach in SC for 2 weeks. Just so much! It is CRAZY. So many emotions also that seem to constantly cycle within me, from abject bliss to abject terror. lol All I know, and I'm sure it is like this for you too, and for everyone here... I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! And absolutely I'm taking my Bible and my computer with me on vacation, going to study His Word, come here as we have internet in our place (yay), watch certain youtube channels that I like that pertain to the convergence of all we see happening (so exciting)! But also to take time to just "be still". And to relax, rest, disengage my mind completely and read a good fiction book (like these), spend time with my family and have a great vacation, to love and enjoy every moment God gives us. God Bless You, kjs! *big hugs to you* I probably should have bought all 3 together but since the first one was free so far I just have that one.

Wow, fascinating thread. I was just directed here by yardstick and now have a lot to digest.
Tiffany, when you were describing what you think the Mark of the Beast will do to people and how they will act, it immediately reminded me of the Borg in Star Trek. Automatons, basically, with a hive mind. And if one of them grabs you and "injects" you, you immediately change into one, too. If you've ever seen the series, I think you'll get the resemblance to what you are discussing. Very scary, revolting stuff.

I have also wondered if some of the animal species we find in the fossil record were also corrupted, and so intentionally eradicated by God. T-Rex comes to mind--a very ugly and dangerous creature and its front legs seem useless. I do believe that behemoth (sauropod dinosaurs) and certain other dinos were created by God, but wonder if some of the meat-eaters were hideous perversions. I once read a theory about where most of the dinosaurs came from. Back before the flood, humans had really long life spans. Maybe the animal kingdom did, too. Lizards supposedly are the one species that grow their entire lifetime. So this theory is that dinosaurs are lizards with a long life span. I don't know if this is correct or if there is any way to prove it, but it made sense to me.

The unpardonable/unforgivable sin or “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” is mentioned in Mark 3:22–30 and Matthew 12:22–32. Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter” (Mark 3:28), but then He gives one exception: “Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin” (verse 29). Based on these verses; then it appears that “the taking of the mark” – should be forgivable – but we are told specifically it is not. The question then becomes – Why not? What makes taking the “mark” unforgivable? The theory you laid out – the mark causes a change in the DNA – which makes them Non-Human – offers a very real and plausible explanation on why taking the MARK – will make the participant; unforgivable before God – because Jesus paid the price for Humans – not Hybrids. =========== The first time I heard Scotty’s theory of the “Body of Christ” is only conceived at this point and not actually “Born Again” – I rejected it; because it seemed a form of heresy. After all, we are told that we are baptized into Christ – the moment we believe. Romans 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into union with the Messiah Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore, through baptism we were buried with him into his death so that, just as the Messiah was raised from the dead by the Father’s glory, we too may live an entirely new life. 5 For if we have become united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.But the theory is growing on me. I am not ready to say that is indeed how things stand now – but I am l closer to accepting it than I first was. I understand the precaution here. When I first heard Scottie challenge the notion of "born again", it gave me pause. But a few weeks ago, the Holy Spirit put this verse in front of me, and it gave me some clarity: Ephesians 2:6-7 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Notice the bold verbs - past tense - it already happened. We are in the heavenly realms... yet we are still here. Perhaps this is a forward looking statement. It will happen, because it has already happened in the future. Maybe we should take that into consideration here too: Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.I'm open to correction. This is just how I currently see it.

daniel, certainly could have application but I think the interpretation is for "the now", meaning we have the same position through Him when He completed the atonement for us.

I looked up the Borgs because I never saw Star Trek (when I was really little but I don't very much remember). Yeah though, exactly like that. I think that taking upon oneself the mark of the beast changes their DNA and makes the person "in Satan's image". Where as those of us who believe in Jesus and have accepted His Sacrifice for us on the Cross, we are made in the Image of God. The image of the beast talked about in Revelation, that is people whom have taken the mark. Taking the mark is blaspheming The Holy Spirit... because once we choose, we choose. Choose Jesus, and those who do are His FOREVER. Choose the mark, means choosing Satan as master, and thereby blaspheming permanently The Holy Spirit, and Satan's FOREVER. There is a verse which says that as many as did not take the mark would cause to be killed by the image of the beast (lazy right now and don't feel like looking up exactly because have to leave for work soon). But what that means, at least I think... that people who have already taken the mark, these people ARE the image of the beast. And they will kill whomever refuses to also take the mark, to take upon themselves the DNA of Satan. If one refuses, the other who already have taken it will kill them. There will be no "feeling sorry for", or "compassion", or any of those human emotions that we naturally have in us because we are created in God's Image (even those who are unsaved and those unsaved but don't have the mark yet either... just that if they die they will be separated from God for eternity; but until they die or until they take the mark of the beast... they are free to choose Jesus and have their DNA also changed by the sealing of The Holy Spirit... which makes us truly His FOREVER). People are going to be given a choice... physical death... or the mark of the beast. There aren't going to be any walking around like it is presently, making no choice at all. Once the mark is taken the DNA changes, no longer human, but image of Satan. Complete separation from God. They will be physically "alive" but will have already chosen their eternal fate. They will be completely separated from God, only they will still be on the earth and walking around. They won't feel, not even a modicum, of sympathy, of caring, not about anything or anyone. They'll have no problems killing whomever will not take the mark. And hive mind, yes. I think they will all be interlinked and networked in together and to their father satan. Satan will literally control every move they make, every word coming from their mouth, every single thing about them. And Satan is not like God, and does not believe in free will. We are free in Jesus because He loves us and He gives us our own individuality, our own talents, our own special things about us that make us, "us". He will never take any of that away from us. He is only going to someday (soon I hope lol), take away the SIN. He will never take away our free will. And as for me anyway, just that i serve Him because I WANT to serve Him! I can't imagine being without Him. I just love Him so much. To be without Him is TRULY what Death is.
